Once in an interview with Rediff.com, Kareena Kapoor Khan had talked about her life's first love before her relationship with her ex-boyfriend and actor, Shahid Kapoor, and her wedding with her husband and actor, Saif Ali Khan. The actress had stated she had fallen in love with the actor, Vicky Nihalani, at the age of 13, and he was her first true love. Bebo had also added that she and Vicky are soulmates. The actress had said, "Vicky Nihalani and I are kinds of soul mates. He has always stood by me. He is my first love. I fell in love with him when I was 13."
When Kareena Kapoor Khan was asked about where they've planned for the future, the actress had stated that they're not thinking about the future at this point in time, as it is way too early for them to think about marriage and all. But they're together and working on their respective careers. Confirming that she's in a relationship with Vicky Nihalani, Kareena had said, "There is nothing worked out for the future. It is too early. We are still working on our careers. But yes, we are together as of now."

The interview back in that time broke the headlines of newspapers and celebrity magazines, and everyone was talking about the Kapoor family's youngest star kid being madly in love with director, Pahlaj Nihalani's son, Vicky Nihalani. However, after some time, the two had parted ways, and after their break-up, Kareena Kapoor Khan had once revealed in a media interaction that she is now committed and would be in love with movies only for the next ten years of her life.
After their break-up, Vicky Nihalani got married to an Italian beauty, Justine Rumeau. However, tragically, she passed away at the age of 43 due to a terminal illness. On the flip side, Kareena Kapoor got married to Saif Ali Khan on October 16, 2012. After four years, in 2016, the madly-in-love couple had become the doting parents to their baby boy, Taimur Ali Khan. Recently, Saif and Kareena had welcomed their second son on February 21, 2021, and named him Jeh.
