In an interview with the Filmfare, Bollywood actress, Kareena Kapoor Khan talked about one of the biggest storms that the Kapoor clan had faced in the recent years, when legendary actor, Rishi Kapoor had passed away. While everyone misses him every single hour of every day, the actress surprisingly revealed that her husband, Saif Ali Khan is the one, who misses him more than her. Revealing the reason behind it, she stated, "It's been a terrible tragedy. Saif misses him a lot more because he connected with him on another level. They believed they were similar actors. Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity to work with him."
Well, it's quite understandable because we have seen Rishi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in many movies together. One of the most memorable ones is Love Aaj Kal, in which their chemistry had won the hearts of everyone. But if we talk about their most memorable scene together, then it is surely from the movie, Hum Tum. And, on April 30, 2020, Kareena Kapoor Khan had shared that same scene on her Instagram handle, while remembering her uncle, Chintu ji. In the video, Rishi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan could be seen enacting the famous song, Main Shayar To Nahi. Well, coming back to Kareena's interview with the Filmfare, the actress also talked about the similarities between her and Rishi ji. Kareena Kapoor said "Like me, Chintu uncle was a Virgo. He too believed in saying things as they were." Kareena highlighted one of the most beautiful characteristics of her uncle's identity. She added, "If he loved your performance, he'd tell you so. After some hours of Rishi ji's death, Kareena had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a throwback picture of Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor from their childhood days. In the picture, Randhir Kapoor had wrapped his arms around his little brother, Rishi Kapoor and the two brothers had looked adorable together. Along with the picture, she had written, "The best boys I know... Papa and Chintu uncle" followed by heart emoticons. The untimely demise of Rishi ji still hurts us a lot, but all we can do is pray for his well-being in the afterlife.
