On April 16, 2020, Kareena took to her Instagram handle and shared a throwback picture of her BFFs from one of their casual outings. Along with the picture, Kareena wrote how much she misses hanging out with her girl gang. Her caption can be read as “We've gone from a table for 4 to 4 different tables. Can't deal with being away from my #GirlGang for thisss long #ThrowbackThursday.”
On March 24, 2020, Karisma had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared napping selfies of her friends, Malaika, Amrita and Kareena in a collage. We loved the way these divas were sleeping. Last year in April, Malaika Arora was seen partying with her girl squad at her sister, Amrita Arora Ladak’s terrace. Malaika and her BFF, Kareena had set major twinning goals as they both had opted for a denim-and-tee look. While Bebo had looked stunning as ever in a pair of distressed denim and an Adidas tee, Malaika had smartly put together her pair of flared denim and a Gucci halter neck.
Talking about Kareena, Karisma, Malaika and Amrita's friendship, it goes way back. On Kareena's radio show, What Women Want, Amrita had talked about the same and had revealed, "Who would you share your deepest, darkest secrets with? Apart from our husbands, we all need that one friend with whom we confide about everything, without being judged. Sometimes we want a friendly opinion so it’s important for a girl to have that rapport where she can pick up the phone and call someone with whom she can smile, cry and be silly with."
In an interview with the Mid-day, Kareena had revealed that she has been responsible for her girl gang's weight gain. She had shared, "Through my pregnancy, we would go to restaurants to eat. I'd eat two entire pizzas, and then the desserts, and eventually they would be tempted. They started putting on weight because of me. Every morning, I'd wake up and say, 'I want to eat samosas with motichur laddo'. And they'd be like, 'Oh God, we can't do that.' I'd urge them to eat, and eventually, they'd relent. So they've done that with me, and even brought me back to shape. Having a good friend is so important in this journey."
