Kareena Kapoor Khan shared an adorable selfie with her mother, Babita Kapoor, as the latter relished a cup of 'kheer'.
Earlier this year, the veteran actor, Randhir Kapoor, had moved out of his ancestral home in Chembur to his new abode in Bandra. His new house is close to his wife, Babita Kapoor’s and their daughters, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor’s house. And thus, now the family is living in the same neighbourhood.
On October 25, 2021, Kareena was spotted with her younger son, Jehangir Ali Khan, by the shutterbugs as she arrived at her father, Randhir Kapoor’s new house. Her sister, Karisma Kapoor was also seen making her way to the venue later. Known as the queen of selfies, Kareena Kapoor Khan, who never misses a chance to treat her fans with snapshots of her life, shared a picture on her social media handle as she arrived at her father, Randhir Kapoor's house. However, this time the actress is joined by her mother, Babita Kapoor.

On October 25, 2021, the Jab We Met actress took to her Instagram handle and shared a cutesy selfie with her mother, Babita Kapoor. The daughter-mother duo looked adorable and garnered heaps of love and praises from their fans on social media. In the picture, Kareena is seen posing for a selfie while her mother, Babita, relishes a cup of kheer. Along with it, she wrote:
“While the mother eats kheer…the daughter poses. #themothership #MeriMaa.”
In the picture, Kareena Kapoor Khan looked gorgeous in an off-white striped kurti paired with matching pants as she posed for a selfie on the couch. On the other hand, her mother, Babita Kapoor sat next to her in a floral-printed top paired with white pants, enjoying a bowl of kheer. Her father, Randhir Kapoor also made an appearance in the photo through a framed portrait on the wall.
For the unversed, veteran actor, Randhir Kapoor and Babita Kapoor, had tied the knot in 1971, after the release of their film, Kal Aaj Aur Kal. They have two actress-daughters, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor. However, the couple had parted ways in 1988 but had never got a divorce.

A few months back, Randhir Kapoor graced the popular show, The Kapil Sharma Show, with his elder daughter, Karisma. On the show, Randhir had opened up about his conversation about Babita with his father, the late Raj Kapoor. Recalling his brief chat with his father, Raj Kapoor, about marrying Babita, Randhir had shared:
“Main timepass kiye jaa raha tha. He was like, ‘Shaadi vaadi karne ka iraada hai ki nahi?’ I said that I intended to marry Babita but then he asked, “Jab woh buddhi ho jayegi shaadi karega usse? So, I did not have to propose to Babita, my parents did so on my behalf.”
The Kapoor sisters, Kareena and Karisma, are frequent visitors to their parents’ house. A few months back, when Kareena had returned from her Maldives trip, she had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a beautiful family photo featuring her sister, Karisma Kapoor and their parents, Randhir Kapoor and Babita Kapoor. Along with it, she had written, “My world."
Ahead of the birth of her second son, Kareena Kapoor Khan had also moved to a new home along with her husband, Saif Ali Khan with their little munchkin, Taimur Ali Khan. She wanted to give ample space to the family as well as their newborn, Jehangir Ali Khan. Their new abode was designed by the renowned interior designer, Darshini Shah, who had designed their old apartment at Fortune Heights as well.
As per the reports, Kareena and Saif's new house is located in the Satguru Sharan building complex in Bandra, Mumbai. Spread across four floors, their heavenly abode is just walking distance away from their old apartment. It boasts of a splendid swimming pool and an open terrace. The house features a classic colonial aesthetic with antique artworks and vintage wood furniture.
Kareena Kapoor Khan will be next seen in the film, Laal Singh Chaddha.
