Kareena Kapoor was seen pacing around her Bandra residence's porch after Saif Ali Khan was stabbed by robbers during the burglary attempt.
Saif Ali Khan, a versatile actor in Bollywood, has always enthralled his audience with his diverse roles. The son of the legendary Sharmila Tagore and Indian cricketer, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, Saif made his Bollywood debut in 1993 with the film, Parampara. On the night of January 15, 2025, the actor's peace was disrupted as burglars invaded his upscale Bandra home. In a shocking turn of events, the burglars launched a brutal attack on the actor, stabbing him six times. Saif, was then immediately rushed to Lilavati Hospital for surgery, leaving his fans deeply concerned.
At midnight, the Khan clan faced the worst of their fears after robbers attacked them. Although the attempt was a failure, they stabbed Saif Ali Khan six times. Kareena Kapoor was seen pacing at her front porch with the house staff as she looked stressed and, dishevelled and panicked after the attack. The actress looked disoriented and it was unclear what she was up to. However, she was on her phone and talking to her staff members.
Life is full of unpredictable moments. Just a few hours before the unfortunate incident, Kareena Kapoor was seen enjoying a normal, fun-filled evening with her girl's gang. In an Instagram story shared by Karisma Kapoor, the girls including Rhea Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and she, had a cozy girls' night in. Later the diva returned back to her Bandra residence.
When Saif was attacked, Kareena, Taimur and Jeh were in the house. Saif's team confirmed the attempted burglary at his home and his current hospitalisation for surgery. The statement also emphasised the ongoing police investigation, requesting patience from the media and fans. The statement read as:
"There was an attempted burglary at Mr Saif Ali Khan's residence. He is currently in hospital undergoing surgery. We request the media and fans to be patient. It is a police matter. We will keep you updated on the situation."
The statement, released by Kareena's team, revealed that the family was shocked by the events and that Kareena and her two kids were doing fine. The team also expressed gratitude to the fans who showed their concern and support while also requesting privacy as the investigation was being carried out. Details related to the exact situation and security measures at Saif's home were not shared. Kareena's team stated:
"There was an attempted burglary in Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's residence last night. Saif had an injury on his arm for which he is in hospital, undergoing a procedure. The rest of the family is doing fine."
