Kareena Kapoor Khan is a super mommy who understands the attention her son gets whenever he steps out of his house. The diva has very well managed to juggle between work and home. Right after the birth of Taimur, Kareena was seen hitting the gym and revamped her career with an equal ace. We are in aww seeing how Kareena after such a busy schedule manages to take time out for her little Tim.
At a recent event, Kareena reveals that her son is so habitual of the media taking his pictures that he doesn’t like it when his abba, Saif or she herself take his picture. Kareena also stated little Tim’s reaction whenever she tries to take his picture, he says, 'Amma, no pictures'. At the event, host Karan Johar asked Kareena whether Tim has become too addicted to the media attention and whether he misses paps when they are not around, Kareena replied that little Tim thinks that paparazzi are his friends. Awww… Isn’t that adorable?
Sometime back, Kareena had graced The Love Laugh Live Show, where she had talked about her son, Taimur and the sweetest thing he says when she leaves for work, she had said, "He says the sweetest thing every day when I have to go to work. 'Amma, don't go.' It just breaks your heart. Sometimes, I just have to slip out without saying bye to him." Aww, this statement of Taimur has surely melted our hearts. In an interview with the Filmfare magazine, Kareena had shared how she strikes the balance between her work and her family. She had stated, "I was working through my pregnancy. Then five and a half months after my delivery, I began working on Veere Di Wedding. I took Taimur to Delhi for the shoot. I’m lucky to have an understanding husband who said, ‘I appreciate the fact that you want to continue your dream’. That’s the most important thing in a marriage."
She had further added, "I had support from my family. I had a lot of help. I had support from my sister (Karisma Kapoor) and of course most importantly, Saif. He comes from a family where his mother was working, his sister is working. It was easy for him to understand that I would take Taimur with me if I had to for a shoot. Absolutely 100 marks to Anil Kapoor and Rhea for being such fantastic producers. Taimur was so well looked after. I’ll always consider them as family. I couldn’t have asked for a better film to do after Taimur. And Taimur, of course, settled so beautifully in Delhi while I shot. He’s a happy trooper. Touchwood!"
She had also revealed the reason why Taimur calls her Amma and had said, "He can call me whatever he wants. But it's just that Saif and his siblings called their mother (Sharmila Tagore) 'Amma' and their father (Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi) 'Abba', so it's just like a thing now."
Kareena had also revealed how she had handled the pressure of motherhood and had said, "We women somehow know how to multitask. I’m enjoying every minute of it. I’m balancing it well. My time with my child is my time. I don’t need to flaunt it on Instagram. I don’t need to flaunt it in front of the media. Like I don’t need to carry my child at the airport to prove how much I love him. My husband too believes it’s not needed. By carrying the child in my arms I don’t need to prove that I’m a hands-on mother. Even if I have two hours with Saif, Taimur and myself in the bedroom, it’s the quality of time and wanting to be together that matters, rather than the quantity of time we spend. I come from that school of parenting." (Also Read: Mohena Kumari Singh's First Post-Wedding Look, The Newly-Married Bride Looks Resplendent In Sindoor)
