Later, the duo became parents to two adorable kids, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan. On February 14, 2024, Kareena Kapoor Khan took to her IG stories and shared how her darling husband, Saif Ali Khan reacted when she wished him on Valentine's Day. Earlier, in a conversation with The Dirty Magazine, Kareena Kapoor Khan opened up about her marriage with Saif Ali Khan. Talking about the same, the actress reflected on the importance of living with her partner before their wedding and mentioned that she wanted to live a beautiful life with Saif before embracing parenthood. Mentioning that, just like most people, she also got married just to have kids. In her words:
"The reason you get married now is that you want to have a child, right? I mean today otherwise you can just live together. We (Saif Ali Khan and I) lived together for five years, so when we took the next step, it was because we wanted to have children."

On being asked what Saif actually means to her, Kareena said that her husband is her whole universe and her life, and her eyes well up every single time she talks about him. "He is my entire being. He’s my entire universe. My whole life revolves around my Saif. My eyes well up every time I talk about him. He's my life."

Once, in an interview with The Times Of India, Saif Ali Khan revealed the secret formula behind his successful marriage with Kareena Kapoor Khan. He shared that they know how to balance work and personal life and always make sure to give each other some space. Talking about the same, he revealed that being actors, they both have tight schedules and whenever they get some time off, they prefer to celebrate it together. Saif also mentioned that he and Kareena give equal importance to doing films and making pizzas at home.
