Kareena Kapoor looked devastated and gloomy after Saif Ali Khan's surgery. His sister, Soha Ali Khan was also seen leaving the hospital teary eyed.
Saif Ali Khan, celebrated for his acting finesse, sophisticated style, and straightforward nature, has a vast fan base. His busy work schedule was disrupted by the alarming news of a burglary attempt at his home and his subsequent injury. The incident has not only left his fans in shock but also the entire film fraternity and his loved ones. Saif, who reportedly sustained the injury while protecting Kareena and their children, has successfully undergone surgery and is now in a stable condition.
Only a few hours back, Saif Ali Khan came out of OT after hours-long surgery. The robbers reportedly stabbed him on his spine, causing the fluid veins to rupture. He is now stable but admitted to the ICU as doctors are monitoring his condition. A dishevelled Kareena Kapoor was spotted at Lilavati hospital after the surgery.
Kareena Kapoor avoided the media and rushed into the hospital. She was there for a few minutes but soon rushed back home to her kids. As per reports, Saif Ali Khan is admitted to the ICU and is unconscious, which is why visitors are not allowed to meet him at the moment.
Saif Ali Khan's sister, Soha Ali Khan, was also recorded by the shutterbugs leaving Lilavati Hospital. The actress looked teary eyes and stressed as she left with her husband, Kunal Khemu. This is surely a very tough time for the Khan clan, and they are struggling to come to terms with the unfortunate incident.
Under the expert care of Dr Leena Jain, Dr Nitin. and Dr. Niraj Uttami, the COO of Lilavati Hospital, Saif Ali Khan underwent a critical surgery. The medical team, which also included Dr. Leena Jain and Dr. Nitin, successfully treated Saif Ali Khan for two major stabs on his spine and four minor cuts on his neck. Saif is now out of danger and on the path to recovery, thanks to the dedicated efforts of his medical team. The statement read as:
"Saif Ali Khan has come out of surgery and is out of danger. He is currently in recovery, and the doctors are monitoring his progress. All family members are safe and the police is investigating the incident. We would like to thank Dr. Niraj Uttamani, Dr. Nitin Dange, Dr Leena Jain and the team at Lilavati hospital. Thank you to all his fans and well-wishers for their prayers and thoughts during this time."
