The '90s famous actress Karisma Kapoor shocked the entire nation when she levied her ex-husband, Sanjay Kapur of physical abuse and tried to auction her during their honeymoon. The ex-couple once looked madly in love, but they had the ugliest divorce battle. However, it looks like Karisma had decided to let bygone be bygones, as she arrived for a lunch date with her ex-husband, Sanjay Kapur and their kids.
On March 12, 2023, Karisma arrived for her son, Kiaan Kapur's birthday lunch celebration. To everyone's surprise, her ex-husband, Sanjay Kapur and his wife, Priya Sachdev also made an appearance with their son. Karisma looked in a rush and on the plea of the shutterbugs, she posed for the camera. She looked happy and extremely comfortable.

They recalled the time when Karisma had accused Sanjay of physical abuse, mercilessly beating her on honeymoon when she refused to sleep with one of his friends. For those who don't know, Karisma Kapoor tied the knot with Delhi-based businessman, Sanjay Kapur in 2003. It all happened after her broken engagement with Abhishek Bachchan. They also have two children together. However, after ten years of togetherness, Karisma ended her marriage. It resulted in an ugly divorce battle and a lot of blame games. As a result, the couple was granted divorce in 2016.
It was reported that Karisma tied the knot with Sanjay after the continuous insistence of her mother, Babita Kapoor. On the other hand, her father, Randhir Kapoor was always against the union. In a media interaction, Randhir had called Sanjay 'a third class man'. After the divorce, Karisma got custody of her kids.
