Kartik Aaryan On Media Scrutiny Around Him, 'We Are Smart Enough To Know Who Is Doing It'

In a recent conversation with the, Hindustan Times, the Love Aaj Kal actor shared how he deals with the negative media scrutiny.

Kartik Aaryan shares that he prefers to use the power of silence

Kartik Aaryan understands that negative things will be mentioned about him in the news. While both good and bad things are written about him, the actor tries to maintain his silence. The Luka Chuppi actor added that silence is very powerful, and he has dealt with the most difficult situations with silence and will follow it. He was quoted as saying:

"And it is not just me who understands this. Everybody understands that. Nobody is stupid in today's day and age. We are smart enough to know who's doing it, and what is happening. I believe you should just stay quiet and just let your work speak louder than words."

Kartik does not take the pressure of box office success for his films

Kartik is one of the well-paid actors in the Hindi film industry owing to the commercial success of his films. He has given several hit films like Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Luka Chuppi, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, and Satyaprem Ki Katha. However, Kartik does not take pressure to succeed at the box office. He said:

"I don't want to put that kind of pressure on any film of mine. The same was with Chandu Champion. I have always tried to think in a very different manner like the process of the film has been rewarding for me personally. It has been satisfying creatively. Having said that, you obviously want your film to work well… You want more and more people to see your film because it's your work."

Kartik had revealed that he was scared of being a part of Bollywood

Negative stories and headlines have shaped a certain perception of the Hindi film industry. Kartik, who comes from a simple background, revealed in his recent appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show that he was scared to enter Bollywood due to negative stories running around it. However, as he became a part of the Hindi film industry, he was able to see its positive side. For instance, he was able to carve a successful career in Bollywood as an outsider that is a proof of that positive side.
