Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela's dating buzz has been going on for quite a long time. Kartik, over the years, has been linked to several of his co-stars, be it Janhvi Kapoor or Sara Ali Khan. Most recently, his dating murmurs with Sreeleela caught the headlines. While both the actors didn't really react to the buzz, Kartik revealed his relationship status. Kartik sat for an interview with Filmfare recently, wherein he was asked about his relationship status after linkups with Janhvi and Ananya.
To this, Kartik said that he's very much single. He also addressed the buzz going around and stated that a lot is spread about his personal life, and while some of them are true, some are not. He further shared that he was earlier new to the idea of people linking him up to every other person, but he now can handle the situation pretty well. Kartik stated that a lot of stories are being written about him and around only one photo, the media forms several stories, and he often gets surprised by witnessing his dating updates from the media itself. Kartik Aaryan can be quoted as saying:
"I’m currently single and not dating. In the past, there was a lot of speculation about my dating life, some true, some not. At the time, I was new to the idea of people linking me romantically with others and didn’t pay much attention to it. The media would often spin stories from a single photo, even if I’d just met someone. It felt surreal, and I’d even get updates about my own dating life. Over time, I realised I needed to be more careful in how I handled such situations."

Earlier, a video of Sreeleela and Kartik went viral, wherein the actress was seen dancing in joy as the actor hosted a party for his sister, Kritika Tiwari's medical degree completion. When the clip went viral, netizens started gossiping about the same and wondered if something was going on between the duo. Soon after that, Kartik's mom, Mala arrived at the IIFA Silver Jubilee celebrations in Jaipur, wherein she was asked about her son's dating life. Mala revealed that the family's demand is a very good doctor. For the unversed, Sreeleela is also studying MBBS to be a doctor alongside being an actress.
