Kartik Aaryan Trolled For Launching 'Shehzada' Teaser On Burj Khalifa, 'Shah Rukh Banne Ki Koshish'

Kartik Aaryan's film, 'Shehzada' has been released in theatres, and while the early reviews are promising, the actor is getting trolled for releasing the film's teaser on Burj Khalifa.

The dapper actor, Kartik Aaryan is currently promoting his recently-released film, Shehzada, in full throttle. The actor is sharing the screen with one of his favourite co-stars, Kriti Sanon. Directed by Rohit Dhawan, the film is the remake of the famous Telugu film, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which was released back in 2020. The original film starred Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde as the lead. The remake is off to an impressive start, despite the presence of Pathaan and Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania in the theatres.

Amid the release of his film, Shehzada, in theatres, Kartik Aaryan is receiving a lot of hate on social media for promoting the movie on Burj Khalifa. The actor was recently seen releasing the teaser of his film on the iconic building in Dubai. The world’s tallest building has become a global marketing tool for celebrities to promote their film projects. However, when Kartik opted for the same, people trolled him for copying Shah Rukh Khan’s trademark style.

As soon as Kartik Aaryan’s videos and pictures from his promotional event in Dubai made their way to social media, a certain section of society left no stone unturned in trolling him. A user warned Kartik not to copy Shah Rukh Khan, and the tweet can be read as, "Pura copy paste hai bey yeh toh itna srk banne ki kon koshish krta hai bhai kartik hi bake rho kabhi pata chala SRK bante bante Kartik se bhi gye". Another Twitter user commented, "Seems like pathaan ke dubai promotion ke video ko edit karke SRK se kartik ko replace kar diya hai!"

Kartik Aaryan's father got emotional seeing his film's teaser on Burj Khalifa

Kartik Aaryan’s father, Muneesh Tiwari also shared the video of his son’s film, Shehzada’s teaser being shown on Dubai’s iconic building, Burj Khalifa. It was an incredibly emotional moment for the doting father, and he opened up about it in his post on social media. On February 16, 2023, Muneesh Tiwari took to his Instagram handle and reshared the video of Shehzada’s Dubai promotion, which was earlier shared by his son, Kartik, on his IG handle. However, it was the proud daddy’s note in the caption that left everyone in tears.

In the note, which Muneesh Tiwari penned in the caption, he told his son, Kartik Aaryan, about the emotions he had felt seeing him achieving so much success in his acting career. Just like every parent in the world, Muneesh admitted that he and his wife often get worried about Kartik’s health, as the actor works tirelessly every day. However, the doting father shared that seeing his son receiving so much love from people around the world convinces him that all the sleepless nights are worth it. Muneesh praised Kartik, and his note in the caption could be read as:

"You make your parent's everyday proud Koki... we are blessed to have a son, a shehzada like you. Your hard work and dedication towards your work gets us worried sometimes as a parent because I'm seeing you that you are not eating properly, I don't know when you are sleeping, only work work work 24×7. But seeing you on world's tallest building Burj Khalifa, seeing you surrounded by thousands of people, being showered so much love everyday, sure it’s all worth it for you. Keep making us proud. On the professional front, Kartik Aaryan’s film, Shehzada, is currently playing in theatres and is receiving positive response from the audience.
