Recently, he appeared on the Be A Man Yaar podcast hosted by Nikhil Taneja and shared more details about it.
Bollywood heartthrob, Kartik Aaryan has a strong female fan following. His personal life and rumours of his relationships never fail to make headlines. Kartik shared that the most profound breakup of his life happened when he was in college. The actor said the girl he was dating decided to break up with him because he wanted to be an actor. She felt she wouldn't be able to date an actor. He was quoted as saying:
"My girlfriend told me she couldn't be with me if I pursued acting. She said she couldn't handle the life of an actor."

Kartik comes from a family with no contact in the entertainment world. So, he carved his journey from scratch. Kartik revealed he used to give several auditions and faced countless rejections during that time. He added that constant rejections affected him, and he felt frustrated. But, with time, the efforts have paid off, and fans' appreciation is worth the hard work. In his words:
"It was very harsh. It's like you don't exist. Lagta tha ki aapki koi value hai nahi. My loneliness has been compensated by my fans."
Kartik Aaryan had earlier shared that he used to miss his college lectures to give auditions. But he felt that being an 'outsider' made it more difficult for him to get noticed, making him a bitter person. He said:
“Main line mein laga hoon aur dusro ko line mein lagne ki zaroorat bhi nahi padh rahi. Wahan chai pi rahe hain jahan main auditions de raha hoon. There was never an even playing field. Aur wo toh aaj bhi rehta hai.”

Karan Aaryan has always been upfront about being an 'outsider' in the industry. He acknowledged that his journey has been difficult and let his hard work lead the way. In the same podcast, Kartik shared that he does not believe in going to the Bollywood camp parties to have small talks for work. He added that he is happy and often enjoys his time alone or with his friends.
