The couple had tied the knot secretly in 2013, and even their families were unaware of it. Recently, Kashmera recalled how they waited to get married because their families were not approving their relationship.
On their eighth wedding anniversary, Kashmera and Krushna had shared lovely wishes for each other. Kashmera had posted lovely pictures, and had written, "Happy 8th year Wedding Anniversary Mommy and Daddy @krushna30 @rishaabchauhaan @artisingh5 @kashmerashahboofilmz."

Recently, in an interview with the Bombay Times, Kashmera recalled her secret marriage. She shared that the duo had tied the knot in the US as she had citizenship there. She revealed that no one knew about their wedding, not even their families. And her mother had found out about it after the news was leaked in the media.
Kashmera further revealed that they had waited a long time to get married as their families had taken a long time to accept their relationship. She revealed during the whole waiting process, everyone moved on, but they felt stuck. And that is when they had decided to get married for their happiness. Kashmera also shared that because they kept their marriage away from the media, that is why it is successful.

Kashmera also revealed that even after 15 years of falling in love, they still talk to each other with the same excitement and love in their heart. They love each other like they have just met. Kashmera stated that there was never a dull moment with Krushna.
For the uninitiated, the couple had opted for surrogacy after 14 failed attempts at pregnancy. Kashmera had gone through IVF treatments to everything on earth, but it all took a toll on her body. But as they say, all the good things take time, so is the case with Krushna and Kashmera's parenthood journey.
