The Princess of Wales, Catherine Elizabeth Middleton, better known as Kate Middleton, underwent a pre-scheduled abdominal surgery in January 2024. Since then, the royal lady has been out of the media’s radar. The absence of the princess from the public eye led many to speculate about her health and whereabouts. Hence, to stop all the murmurs for once and all, the official Instagram account of The Prince and The Princess of Wales uploaded a picture of Kate Middleton along with her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

The Princess of Wales thanked everyone for their continued support during the last two months, and penned, “Thank you for your kind wishes and continued support over the last two months. Wishing everyone a Happy Mother’s Day.” However, the picture worsened the situation even more because various prominent news agencies pulled out the picture of Kate with her children as they found pieces of evidence of it being manipulated. Amid this Photoshop controversy, royal insiders are worried about Kate Middleton’s health and her recovery post-surgery.

Kate Middleton’s gloomy face reminded royal insiders of the late Princess Diana

Kate Middleton was spotted with her husband, Prince William, as they ventured out of their palace in a car on March 11, 2024. The princess looked gloomy as she sat beside her husband. In the pictures, Kate was looking outside the window, which led observers to compare The Princess of Wales with her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana. A royal insider expressed concerns about her recovery phase to Page Six and talked about how awful it is to be under constant public scrutiny. The royal insider said:

“It’s an awful lot to be under all of this public scrutiny when you are recovering from major surgery. The rumour mill, particularly on social media, has gotten out of control, but Kate is recovering well, and she will be back by Easter. She just needs to be left in peace.”

Another insider spoke to the same media outlet and mentioned that Kate Middleton did not appear to be happy when she was seen with her husband, Prince William, in a car on Monday, i.e., March 11, 2024. The source also said that the princess’ long face reminded them of the late Princess Diana, who was photographed looking all gloomy as she sat beside her then-husband, Prince Charles, during their ongoing marriage crises. In November 1992, when Prince Charles and Princess Diana made an official visit to Seoul, a popular photo captured the couple sitting together with tension etched across their faces. The couple announced their official split the following month.
