Celeb pilates trainer, Yasmin Karachiwala recalled getting threats from Katrina Kaif regarding jiggling of body fat. She also talked about Alia's short attention span during pregnancy exercise.
Katrina Kaif, one of the much-loved actresses in Bollywood, leaves no stone unturned to send everyone into a collective meltdown with her acting skills, beauty, intelligence, and grace. The actress, time and again, left her fans' jaws dropped with her marvellous dance numbers, Kamli, Chikni Chameli, and Sheila Ki Jawani, among others. Katrina is hailed for her top-notch fitness regimen, and recently, her trainer, Yasmin Karachiwala revealed how the actress threatened her. She also talked about Alia Bhatt's pregnancy exercise routine.
On Ryan Fernando's podcast, celeb pilates trainer, Yasmin Karachiwala revealed a whole lot of unheard anecdotes about Katrina and Alia. While talking about her journey as a celeb trainer, Yasmin mentioned that there was a time when she would get threats from Katrina. It was during the time when Katrina was getting trained her song, Chikni Chameli from the movie, Agneepath.
Talking about Katrina, Yasmin shared that during the shoot of Chikni Chameli, Katrina had to make some rigorous moves, and no fat was supposed to jiggle from the actress. Thus, Katrina straightaway threatened the trainer that if anything jiggles, she would go on national television and reveal that Yasmin was not a good instructor. In Yasmin's words:
"When Katrina Kaif was doing Chikni Chameli, and she was supposed to be doing rigorous movements where no fat could jiggle, she told me, ‘Yas if anything jiggles, I will go on national TV and say you are not a good instructor’. So she customised her workout.”
In the same interview, Yasmin revealed that Katrina used to work out for an hour every day, followed by cardio, and the diet was also very balanced. She also shared that they used to do functional training, which also needed to be changed daily, as Katrina gets bored easily. In Yasmin's words:
"We used to work out every day. An hour every day, followed by cardio. The food was very disciplined. We never did the same workout every day. We did a lot of functional training, which needed to change every day because Katrina got bored very easily.”
In the same podcast, Yasmin Karachiwala talked about Alia Bhatt's pregnancy exercise routine. She added that Alia developed exercises on the fit ball, swiss ball, and reformers, and they had to change them constantly because the actress has a short attention span. Yasmin also humorously added that if there were 20 reps, then Alia would be done by 8, and for the same reason, they had to keep the workout routine for the actress very crisp. Yasmin can be quoted as saying:
"During her pregnancy, we developed exercises on the fit ball, swiss ball, and reformers. And I had to change it constantly because Alia has a short attention span. If you have 20 reps, you will lose her at 8. Which is why I had to keep her workouts are very crisp. You have to move before her thoughts go somewhere else."
