Popular television actor, Karan Veer Mehra won 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 14' and here's what he took home along with the show's beautiful trophy.
Khatron Ke Khiladi's season 14 finally came to an end on September 29, 2024, after an exciting three-month journey. In the final, Karan Veer Mehra, Krishna Shroff, and Gashmeer Mahajani locked horns in the final task of the season. It was hands-down the toughest task of the season, which was expected, but the way makers made it a combination of three nerve-shaking tasks was quite exciting. The show's final task of the show was a combination of water, air and a helicopter twist.
However, it was Karan Veer Mehra who defied the odds and outperformed everyone in the final task to lift the trophy. The television actor received a lot of praise from the show's host, Rohit Shetty, for his performance in the final task. For the uninitiated, Karan Veer Mehra received a whopping sum of Rs. 20 lakh as prize money along with the winner's trophy.
Not only this, but the television actor also received a brand new Hyundai Creta, whose price ranges from Rs. 13 lakhs to Rs. 24 lakhs. It's incredible the way 45-year-old Karan Veer Mehra has beaten young and fit stars like Asim Riaz, Krishna Shroff, Aashish Mehrotra, Gashmeer Mahajani, and Abhishek Kumar, as the former proved that age is just a number.
Soon after winning the Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, Karan Veer Mehra opened up about his stance on the way he performed physically in the show despite being in his 40s. The actor admitted that he had taken NCC training in the past, and it has helped him heavily during his tasks in the show. Karan added that due to the training he got at the NCC camp, he wasn't terrified by the extreme tasks he did on the show. Not only this, he also shared that his age never stopped him from pushing himself through in every stunt. He said:
"People always say, 'age is just a number', but for me, age is just a word. I've always prioritised fitness, and now, my body respects me in return. At this point, I can still give younger guys and girls a run for their money, which I did on this show."
Talking about Karan Veer Mehra's personal life, he was married to the stunning actress, Nidhi Seth. The couple tied the knot on January 24, 2021, but shockingly parted ways after just two years of their married life. In a conversation with Telly Talk India, Nidhi opened up about her divorce from Karan Veer Mehra and labelled her marriage with Karan as "the biggest mistake of her". After a few months of her divorce from Karan, Nidhi posted a picture with her new boyfriend on Instagram and captioned the picture as "OFFICIALLY MY HAPPILY EVER AFTER!"
