As of now, a heavy controversy has begun in the South Korean industry with the claims that Kim Soo-Hyun dated Kim Sae-Ron since she was a minor.
Not only this, reportedly, he didn't come to help her even when she was pressured by his agency, Gold Medalist to repay 700 million in order to her infamous DUI incident. Such information was revealed by the YouTube channel, Garo Sero Institute, who cited the late actress, Kim Sae-Ron's family in the same. Reacting to this, Kim Soo-Hyun's agency has released a statement, wherein they stated that the actor never dated Kim Sae-Ron when she was a minor, and their dating spanned from 2019 to 2020. As per the statement, the agency never even pressured Kim Sae-Ron to repay the amount, but it was mainly a part of the legal procedures that the actress was sent a legal notice.
Kim Sae-Ron's mom has demanded an apology from Kim Soo-Hyun and his agency, while the agency requested a 'private meeting'. As per the statement, they don't believe in publically debating on such matters and they would like to meet the actress' mom. The late actress' mom was asked to contact the office. Well, Kim Sae-Ron's family is reportedly even more furious with Kim Soo-Hyun's additional statement, and they have sent some statements to the YouTube channel, Garo Sero, which will be revealed in their next broadcast. As per Garo Sero's newest revelation:
"Kim Soo-hyun’s additional statement has only made the bereaved family even more furious. They have sent us a new statement today, which we will reveal in our next broadcast.”
While the past relationship between Kim Sae-Ron and Kim Soo-Hyun has been discussed widely along with the controversy, it further intensified the YouTube channel, Garo Sero Institute's claims that they had access to the late actress' diary. As per Naver, the YT channel had claimed that the diary was accessed for documenting the relationship angle and details between Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun.
As per the entries of the journal, the duo had a six-year-long relationship, which began when the late actress was in the second year of middle school. It was also reported that the journal had several important deets about their relationship and it might stand out as hard proof. On the other hand, Gold Medalist's statement came soon after this claim, and it was reported that the couple dated for only 1 year.
