Kishwer Merchantt shared a picture flaunting her baby bump and revealed why pregnant women keep their hand on their belly before taking a picture.
Kishwer Merchantt and Suyyash Rai are on cloud nine as they are counting days to hold their little one in their arms. It was on March 2, 2021, when Kishwer and Suyyash had surprised everyone with the announcement of their pregnancy and since then, we have been witnessing glimpses from their pregnancy diaries.
On June 25, 2021, the Rai-Merchantt family had organised a Kishwer godh bharai ceremony for Kishwer. She had taken to her IG handle and had shared a beautiful picture from the same, in which she had looked amazing in her pink sharara suit with silver gotta patti work on it. She had captioned the picture as "Baby Hum dono kaafi alag hai but saath mien PERFECT @suyyashrai Hi papa to be."

A few moments back, Kishwer took to her IG handle and shared a picture flaunting her baby bump. Sharing why a pregnant woman always keeps her hand on her stomach while posing for a picture, the soon-to-be-mommy wrote, “I use to always wonder why every pregnant woman keeps her hand on her stomach while getting clicked… Said to myself I will never do this, and here I am. Touch feels special and important. #sukishkababy.”
On Mother’s Day 2021, Kishwer had shared how her yet-to-be-born baby had wished her with kicks. Sharing a cute picture on her IG handle, flaunting her baby bump, which had ‘Happy Mother’s Day’ written atop it, she had written, “With a little movement and slight kicks he/she whispered from inside wishing me "happy mother's day." #sukishkababy” in the caption.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Suyyash and Kishwer had revealed that their pregnancy had come as a shocker to them. The mommy-to-be had said, "It's amazing, I just can't describe it in words. I mean, after all, it's my first baby! I am super nervous too as it's my first time and I don't really know what to do. But thankfully we have our family, friends who have kids to guide us better. So I am sure it will be sorted."
Kishwer Merchantt and Suyyash Rai had tied the knot in 2016 and after five years of marital bliss, the couple is all set to embrace parenthood. Since Kishwer conceived at the age of 40, she had revealed in an interview with ETimes that her mother had once told her to get her eggs frozen. Kishwer had recalled, "Well my mother was after me to have a baby, and just a week before I conceived, told me that I should freeze my eggs."

Kishwer Merchantt is due in August 2021.
