India's top YouTuber and content creator, 'Flying Beast', Gaurav Taneja, is known to people for his super hit vlogs and interesting business plan. However, not many know about his wife, Ritu Rathee, apart from the fact that she is a pilot. Ritu comes from a family, where daughters weren't allowed to study, but her parents worked hard and fought with their own family to give her education, and she became a pilot.
Ritu Rathee not only started earning her own money but also became an inspiration for many for the life she led. She never tried bragging about the materialistic things in life but stayed rooted and found peace in God's feet. Ritu Rathee, who has met famous people like in the world, belongs to a small village, Nindana in Haryana. She belongs to a Haryanavi Jatt family. In one of her YouTube interview, she shared a life story, and how she is from a family where daughters are killed even before birth. She has three sisters and a brother, who is youngest of them all.
Ritu once revealed that she had always been good in her studies. She also revealed that she wanted to study, and her parents knew, but they were under social pressure, as people would often ask them to stop their education. Her relatives kept taunting her parents for making her study. In fact, it was extremely difficult for her to convince her father to allow her to study abroad for two years for pilot training. But she stood her ground, and her father agreed. Ritu also revealed that the relatives stopped talking to her father, which left him depressed.
Ritu revealed that during her first job, she would drive on her brother's bike to her office in Delhi from Gurgaon. Her second job was in Ahmedabad, and she earned Rs. 25k per month. She wanted her parents to feel proud on her. And when she got a pilot job, her entire family, who would taunt her father, started stating 'Dekh maari chori hai jo pilot lag rahi hai (She is our daughter that is now a pilot).'
However, Ritu's only regret in life is that her mother passed away before she got her pilot job. She wasn't able to make her feel proud. She wanted to show her mother how she worked hard to achieve success. She is now the Captain of Airbus A320.
Ritu Rathee is married to pilot-turned-entrepreneur, Gauarav Taneja. Together the couple is parents to two daughters. They also own India's biggest lifestyle and family-content vlogging channel, Flying Beast. While murmurs are rife that Ritu is heartbroken and might part ways from Gaurav, the couple is trying their best to keep their personal issues away from social media.
Well, Ritu is an inspiration for all the young girls striving to make a name for themselves. Keep working hard and one day your dreams will take flight, just like Ritu's dream of pilot, which was instilled in her by her friend in school turned true.
