Bollywood's stunning actress, Alia Bhatt and her Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani co-star, Ranveer Singh appeared on the much-awaited opening episode of the popular reality show, Koffee With Karan's season 7. And on the show's set, the actress revealed the real story of when love had started brewing between her and the man of her dreams, Ranbir Kapoor. For the unversed, RK was Alia's first crush and she had revealed the same on an earlier episode of the same show. Fast forward to now, the much-in-love couple is married and expecting their baby.
Brahmastra co-stars, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor had tied the knot on April 14, 2022 in his Vastu residency in Mumbai. And it was on June 27, 2022, when the couple announced Alia's pregnancy. Taking to her IG handle, Alia shared a cutesy post, wherein the first picture featured the duo gazing towards the sonography screen inside a hospital. The next picture showed a lion along with his lioness and their cute little cub. Sharing the beautiful pictures, Alia had written:
“Our baby.......... Coming soon.”

On Koffee With Karan's season 7, episode 1, which was premiered today i.e., June 7, 2022, a few hours ago, featured Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. During the conversation, the actress recalled the exact time which had bought her close to Ranbir Kapoor. She mentioned that it was during New Year eve when the duo had taken a flight to Tel Aviv to do a workshop for their first film, Brahmastra and they were given a seat together. However, the seat had malfunctioned, raining water on Alia's dreams. Revealing the same, Alia said:
“It was not meant to happen. We were not supposed to be together on New Year’s. We both talked on our flight to Tel Aviv to do a workshop for Brahmastra. We both were seated together. I remember him walking in, and he was supposed to sit next to me, and I was very excited. But then he sat next to me, and something got stuck on his seat. There was some malfunction, so they were going to move him to another seat. And I was like, why is this happening, why is my dream getting shattered? But later, his seat got fixed, and he came back."
In the same conversation, Alia mentioned that afterwards Ranbir was given another seat away from her. And that was when something was brewing between them and they had felt the spark. Later, while exchanging notes, they had also discussed the same and Ranbir was also of the same opinion recalling the incident which had then shattered their dreams of travelling together, however made them 'forever partners'. Recalling the exact moment from where the vibe had started, Alia added:
“Later when we were exchanging notes, even he said, ‘I was getting so upset and irritated, iss seat ko abhi rukna tha when we were sitting together so nicely.’ So that vibe started there only. The rest is history.”

On July 5, 2022, Karan Johar had shared a teaser video from the first episode, wherein we could see bits and pieces from Alia and Ranveer's conversation with the host. In one of the segments, Karan asked Alia to reveal that one marriage myth which was busted as soon as she had tied the knot with Ranbir. Answering this, Alia promptly responded with a serious face and said, "There's no such thing as suhaag raat. You are tired." And this statement left Ranveer in splits. Check out the video:
