Kriti Kharbanda Cooks 'Halwa' For Her 'Pehli Rasoi' In 'Sasural', Stuns In A Red Suit And 'Chooda'

Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat tied the knot in a grand wedding ceremony in New Delhi. Now, the new bride, Kriti shared glimpses of her 'pehli rasoi' at her in-laws.

Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat left everyone in awe with their dreamy wedding ceremony on March 15, 2024. Away from the media glares and paparazzi circle, Kriti and Pulkit tied the knot in an intimate ceremony with their close family and friends in their hometown, Delhi. In every Indian wedding, the bride outshines the groom. However, this was the first time when a dulha gave us inspiration with his outfit, specially customised with Gayatri Mantra. While we are still day-dreaming about Pulkit's look, Kriti shared a glimpse of her pehli rasoi at her in-laws.

On March 19, 2024, Kriti took to her Instagram stories and posted glimpses of her pehli rasoi or chauka chadana rasam. For those who don't know, in Punjabis, after marriage, the bride has to cook something sweet for her in-laws, and this rasam is called Chauka Chadana or Pehli Rasoi. In the pictures, Kriti was decked up in a gorgeous red suit with tassel detailing. In the first picture, she shared a glimpse of her perfectly cooked halwa, garnished with nuts. Atop it, she wrote:

"Meri pehli rasoi."

In the next photo, Kriti was posing with Pulkit's grandmother, who looked super happy after eating the mouth-watering halwa. Atop the picture, Kriti wrote, "Approved by dadi." In the next picture, she was seen garnishing the nuts on the halwa, and she looked totally engrossed in cooking the yummiest delicacy for her family.

We loved every picture of Pulkit and Kriti's wedding. Kriti was a bindass bride, who enjoyed her special day to the fullest. She was seen kissing Pulkit on his forehead and showed the world that a bride, too, could express her love. On the other hand, Pulkit won hearts with his wedding day look. In a world where brides go the extra mile to impress the groom, Pulkit took the extra step and wore a pistachio green sherwani from Anamika Khanna, which featured the Gayatri mantra on it.

Pulkit's ensemble included an angrakha kurta, dhoti, and matching doshala. The outfit was further embroidered with the Gayatri mantra in pastel thread, making it look like a part of the design. We also loved his jewellery choice. Pulkit flaunted a heavy neck chain with a big pendant and big kundan earrings. His look was completed with a turban and a jutti.

On the other hand, Kriti looked pretty in a pink-toned lehenga, featuring a flared lehenga skirt with scallop detailing on the hem, matching choli and a dupatta. She kept her look subtle for the morning wedding. A choker neckpiece, maang teeka and a nath completed her look.

Kriti's in-laws gave a dhamakedar welcome to the new bride. In a video that went viral on the internet, we can see Kriti and Pulkit arriving in style and dancing to the beats of dhol at their Delhi home. The family happily welcomed them, and Kriti and Pulkit looked super happy. For the special moment, Kriti donned a floral-printed saree with a strappy blouse. On the other hand, Pulkit looked handsome in a kurta with dhoti.
