Kriti Kharbanda shared precious moments from her first Karwa Chauth celebration after marriage with husband, Pulkit Sharma.
Bollywood’s most beloved couple, Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda, are savouring every moment of their togetherness in marital bliss. The pair, who became one on March 15, 2024, won hearts with their unassuming wedding. Now, they've celebrated their first Karwa Chauth together, a testament to their deep bond. Kriti Kharbanda also shared her preparations for this special day, inviting us all to be a part of their joy.
Taking to her Instagram handle, a while back, Kriti shared a carousel of pictures wherein she and Pulkit looked adorable, cuddling and hugging each other as they ringed in their first Karwa Chauth. For the day, Kriti opted for a yellow-hued organza saree with a zari border. She paired it with a blouse in the same hue. She amped up her look with a gold necklace, stacked bangles on her chooda and statement chandbalis.
Kriti completed her look with a dewy makeup base, brown, smokey, and kohl-rimmed eyes, and glossy pink lips. She left her hair open in soft curls. Pulkit, on the other hand, complemented her perfectly and donned a beige-hued sherwani set. Sharing the pictures on IG, Kriti wrote wrote:
"Hum. Celebrating the 1st of every festival in the first year of marriage has been a tradition in every family for as long as I can remember. Karwachauth being one of them. Every karwachauth, i would sit behind my mother, watch her perform the aarti, look at Chanda mama and then at papa from across the channi , dress up and apply mehendi. I’d also wake up for the sargi. I found it fascinating! All that while thinking to myself, I want this,For me. So today, I tick one more thing off my bucket list. The 10 year old me is shy and blushing! He’s good looking also, now that’s the cherry on top! P.S. Being married (to the right person) was also on my bucket list :) and I’m happy to announce, it’s going splendidly."
On October 20, 2024, Kriti shared a photo of her first Karwa Chauth mehendi on her Instagram. The design, a delicate rose with a bel , was a unique twist on the traditional mandala, adding a touch of intrigue and appreciation to the celebration.
We were enamoured by every moment of Pulkit and Kriti's wedding. Kriti, a bindass bride, embraced her special day with a carefree spirit, seen kissing Pulkit on his forehead, a heartwarming display of her love. Pulkit, on the other hand, won us over with his wedding day look. In a world where brides often strive to impress, Pulkit's choice of a pistachio green sherwani from Anamika Khanna, featuring the Gayatri mantra, was a bold and unique statement.
