Kriti Sanon and the director, Om Raut were papped outside Tirumala Venkateswara Temple. They visited the place to participate in the darshan of Lord Venkateswara Swamy. However, it was Om Raut's parting kiss on Kriti Sanon's cheek that raised many eyebrows. The internet is divided as they didn't like the PDA at a religious place. For the unversed, Kriti and Om were there to seek God's blessing for their upcoming film, Adipurush, wherein the actress is playing the role of 'Sita'.
On June 7, 2023, Kriti and Om were papped outside Tirumala Venkateswara Temple. The actress was decked up in a yellow-hued suit white-thread work embroidery, and a red-hued dupatta. On the other hand, Om wore a white-hued kurta. In the pictures that are trending on the internet, Om Raut was seen giving a kiss on Kriti's cheeks as they parted ways. They were seen outside a temple, which left netizens trolling them.

As soon as the video went viral, netizens started trolling them. One user called it shameless behaviour. Another asked for an apology from Modi as he is the producer of it. BJP State Secretary Ramesh Naidu also commented against it. Taking offence at the PDA, the BJP leader also questioned if it was necessary. However, he deleted the tweet.
