Govinda and Krushna Abhishek have finally resolved their rift at 'The Great Kapil Show'. Here is what we know.
Krushna Abhishek and Govinda had their Karan-Arjun moment on the sets of The Great Indian Kapil Show. A few years back, Krushna refused to be part of an episode of The Kapil Sharma Show because his mama, Govinda and mami, Sunita Ahuja, were expected as guests, sparking years of rift. Now, the duo seems to have made amends, as they were seen hugging out their issues on Netflix's The Great Indian Kapil Show.
Actor and politician, Govinda will appear on The Great Indian Kapil Show, and fans are impatiently waiting to see the mama-bhanja's reunion, finally laying the long-running feud to rest. The Hero No. 1 actor will appear on the show along with his B-Town buddies and actors, Shakti Kapoor and Chunky Panday. Recently, The Great Indian Kapil Show's Instagram handle shared a promo of the upcoming episode, which showed a teary-eyed Krushna and Govinda hugging out their differences. The show shared the clip with the caption:
"Take this as a sign to catch up with your friends."
In the shared video, Krushna Abhishek welcomes his uncle, Govinda, to The Great Indian Kapil Show with a big warm hug. Both Krushna and Govinda seem emotional as their eyes well up. As soon as Krushna and Govinda pull away, Krushna says that he won't leave his uncle today and pulls the latter for a hug again. He said:
"Do saal baad mile hain, aaj nahi chodhunga."

Krushna Abhishek spoke about his reunion with the Hindustan Times. He shared that his reunion with his mama, Govinda, after such a long time, was one of the best experiences of his life. The comedian further added that he stands by what he said on stage when he called their separation '7 saal ka vanvas' had ended with their reconciliation. Krushna had also shared a post tagging his uncle, Govinda, on Instagram on November 9, 2024, with the caption:
"Dance has always been my passion since my childhood always use to see my mama @govinda_herono1 dancing or rehearsing his songs and use to learn from him and from comedy circus times I always enter on stage dancing and I love it."

The rift between Govinda and Krushna Abhishek started in 2016. The spat began after Krushna made a joke on his show, which Govinda found disrespectful. The duo had expressed their anger toward one another through the media in the last few years, but the turnaround was when Govinda attended his niece Arti Singh’s wedding, ending their feud.
