Krushna Abhishek joked as he imitated his 'mama', Govinda on 'The Great Indian Kapil's Show' on Netflix as Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan graced it as guests.
Krushna Abhishek for the first time in his comedy career, imitated his mama, Govinda, who is hailed as the '90s king. Govinda is synonym to '90s super hit films, and his movies are still loved for their hilarious takes. In times when Amitabh Bachchan would be portraying his 'angry young man' looks on silver screen, Govinda left the nation in joy with his on-point comic timings.
In the latest episode of The Great India Kapil Show's second season, Kareena and Karisma will be gracing it as guests. In the promo, the Kapoor sisters had a blast on the show. However, during a segment, Krushna was seen comouflaging into one of Govinda's on-screen avatar, and he made Karisma nostalgic.
However, Kapil warned him to be careful as he might offend the 'original one'. Kapil said, "Dyaan se, original waale naa dekh le." Krushna knowing about the consequences of his action said:
"Gaali khaunga ghar pe aaj."

Last year, Govinda appeared on Maniesh Paul's podcast and bared his heart out. During one of the segments, Govinda revealed that it was Krushna's stint on a comedy show that pinched him. He narrated the incident and said that it was Krushna's one-liner that had left him hurt. Govinda shared that it was by chance he was watching TV, and in a comedy show, Krushna was asking someone if they have any filmy dushman. Narrating the incident, Govinda had said:
"I just happened to see that he was talking to some actor asking if they have any filmy dushman. Krushna says, ‘Mujhe zarurat nahi hai, mere ghar me mera mama hai’. I didn’t feel that it was written by a writer. I felt he is assuming and presuming that something wrong is happening in his life due to me."
When Maniesh forced Govinda to say something to Krushna and end their family feud on his show. To this, Govinda recalled the love Krushna's mother had bestowed upon him. He also shared that Krushna is forever forgiven. However, despite the hate, Govinda attended his niece and Krushna's sister, Aarti's wedding.
Govinda left the entire nation in shock after he shot himself with his own licensed gun accidentally. Despite the on-going feud, Karisma and Krushna rushed to the hospital to be with Govinda and his family in these testing times. After getting discharged, Govinda talked about the incident.
Govinda said that he was leaving for a show in Kolkata at around 5 in the morning. When the gun fell down and it misfired. Govinda added that he was shocking seeing a fountain of blood coming out. He was quoted as saying:
"Pray for me. It was a deep injury and when it happened I could not believe it. It felt like what happened. I was leaving for a show in Kolkata and it was early morning around 5… woh giri aur chal padi (it fell and misfired)… I was stunned and then I saw a fountain of blood coming out."
