Comedian, Krushna Abhishek revealed he came to know about Arti Sing's existence when he was around eight years old.
Comedian and actor, Krushna Abhishek shares quite a special bond with his sister, Arti Singh. The siblings have been spotted together in multiple instances, and Arti was seen attending every episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, supporting Krushna from the audience panel. But did you know, it was not until Krushna was eight years old, that he learned that Arti was his biological sister? Read on to learn more about Krushna and Arti’s unknown childhood days.
Recently, in a vlog hosted by Archana Puran Singh, Krushna shared a snippet from his growing years, sharing how he lost his mother to uterus cancer at a young age, when he was only two years old. Shortly after giving birth to Arti, their mother passed away, and the baby was adopted by their aunt. It wasn’t until Krushna was about 7 or 8 years old that he learned of his biological sister, Arti’s existence. Krushna was heard saying:
“Arti was born two years after me, and sadly, our mother passed away due to uterus cancer shortly after her birth. Govinda mama’s bhabhi adopted Arti and took her to Lucknow, so I didn’t even know I had a sister.”
After he learned about his biological sister, Krushna was left overwhelmed, and with the help of his family, he arranged flight tickets to meet her on Raksha Bandhan. Recalling the emotional moment when he finally got to meet his sister, Krushna said:
"She was just 5 or 6 years old, and it was the first time when we saw each other. Since then, our bond has become unbreakable."
Over the years, Krushna and Arti have carved their paths in the entertainment industry, but their connection remains strong. Krushna, known for his impeccable comic timing and mimicry skills, became a household name with popular shows like Comedy Circus and The Kapil Sharma Show. He also made a mark in Bollywood with films like Bol Bachchan and Entertainment.
Arti, on the other hand, has made her presence felt in Indian television by playing roles in hit shows like Parichay, Uttaran, and Waaris. Her stint on Bigg Boss 13 also showcased her straightforward nature, earning her immense love from audiences.
Even though they spent the first five or six years of their lives not knowing of the other’s existence, Krushna and Arti are now inseparable. Arti has addressed Krushna as her ‘best friend’ on her social media several times, and their love for each other is evident in everything they do. On Krushna’s last birthday on May 30, 2024, Aarti posted a birthday special video on her IG handle with a caption that read:
“My love, my family, my everything. Happy Birthday, my darling. You have been my rock for the last 18 years, and I look forward to many more lifetimes with you. I am blessed to have you in my life. Love you now and forever, my rockstar, and happy birthday once again.”
