The legendary singer, Kumar Sanu's daughter, Shannon K is a renowned Indian-American singer. Moreover, as per reports, she is all set to enter Bollywood.
Legendary singer, Kumar Sanu's daughter, Sana Kumar Sanu Bhattacharya popularly known as Shanon K is a well-acclaimed Indian-American singer. Shannon has made her singing debut with a pop single, A long time, written and produced by singer, Jason Paul Douglas Boyd. Currently, the gorgeousness is all set to make her acting debut in Bollywood with the upcoming film, Chal Zindagi, co-starring Sanjay Mishra and Mita Vashisht.
In an interview with ETimes, Shannon revealed that she has already completed the shooting of her debut film in one of the lead characters. Further, she mentioned that the film is a journey to Ladakh, wherein the characters ride on their bikes to reach their destinations. However, with a beautiful moral to 'love your life', the actress revealed that she was enjoying her shooting and that the film would soon hit the theatres.

For the unversed, Shannon K is the adopted daughter of Kumar Sanu and his second wife, Saloni Bhattacharya. Kumar and Saloni also have a biological child named Ana and the family of four lives a family altogether. Moreover, walking in her father's footsteps, Shannon has already made her name in the singing industry on her own.
However, Kumar Sanu never wanted to reveal that he and his second wife, Saloni had adopted Shannon and that the latter isn't their biological child. He has been keeping it away from everyone. However, during his appearance in a singing reality show, Dil Hai Hindustani, Kumar had revealed that he adopted a baby girl in 2001 and named her Shannon.
And as his darling daughter has already made a name for herself, he doesn't care about the fact anymore. During the course of the event, Kumar had stated that his daughter, Shannon is very hardworking and has already achieved so much in her life. He had also lauded his daughter as, for her, many people in Hollywood could get to know him, and this is a matter of pride for his family.

Not only Shannon, but Kumar Sanu and his first wife, Rita Bhattacharya's son, Jaan Kumar Sanu also followed in his father’s footsteps and pursued a beautiful career in singing. In one of the old interviews, Kumar had shared how he never forced any of his kids into this career. He also explained how he believes that every child must be able to pursue their dreams. He was quoted as saying that his daughter was struggling to get some work in Hollywood, but for his son, who works predominantly in Bollywood, "It's not so difficult". But he also shared that he believes only hard work bags good work to his kids.
However, after having a share of struggles in Los Angeles, Shannon could finally manage to bag some credible works in her field. Not only that, she had also sung a song, It’s Magical, which is a fusion of English and Hindi lyrics. Shannon sang the English part, and undoubtedly, it was her father who gave his melodious voice in the Hindi lyrics.
Earlier, in a candid conversation with the Times Of India, Shannon had also opened up about her father and how Kumar Sanu holds a beautiful place in her life. She had said that it was unfortunate that she couldn’t sing in Hindi, but her daddy never interfered or forced her to sing. She explained that it's her own passion and wish to become a singer. Moreover, she mentioned that Kumar Sanu always encourages her and her sister, Anna to do whatever they want to do.
