Kunal Verma And Puja Bannerjee Get Engaged; Puja's Red And Blue Lehenga Stole The Show

Just yesterday we reminded all you lovely folks that lovebirds Puja Banerjee and Kunal Verma were all set to get engaged. And today, we are back with all the masti and fun deets that happened at the engagement ceremony that took place at The Club in Andheri. 

Kunal and Puja met on the sets of Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi Sajna and the two instantly hit off. The two enjoyed a steady relationship for good nine years before they became half mister and missus on August 16, 2017.

Not many know but Puja was married to a non-industry person when she entered the television world and her married name was Puja Bose. It was reported that after tasting success, problems began in her married life and she separated from her husband.

But now, let’s come back to the happy engagement news of Kunal and Puja. Both of them looked stunning in the beautiful attires they chose. The engagement was a typical Rajasthani one as Kunal hails from Rajasthan, but the wedding will be according to Bengali rituals.

Talking about the engagement decision, the happy bride-to-be said: 

“I am very happy. We have been in a relationship for 9 years and are finally getting engaged. I never thought that something like this would happen in the 9th year of our relationship, but ho gaya. I think 9 is a lucky number for me.”

Kunal, as he revealed before in an interview, looked dapper in a bottle green bandhgala, while Puja looked gorgeous in a multi-coloured blue and red lehenga with a plain blue choli and a pink net dupatta.

She teamed her gorgeous lehenga choli with a kundan set and a borla-style maang teeka. She complimented her kundan necklace with a beautiful layered necklace. Even though their attires were not colour-coordinated, the two still looked so much in sync.
