Kusha Kapila has finally broken her silence on Samay Raina's roast about her and her divorce from Zorawar Ahluwalia.
Kusha Kapila is one of the most popular faces on social media. She was last seen in the film, Thank You For Coming, and won hearts with her performance. Recently, Samay Raina took nasty potshots at Kusha and her divorce from her ex-husband, Zorawar Singh Ahluwalia, shocking everyone. For the unversed, Samay and Kusha, along with many other comedians, roasted each other on the new series, Pretty Good Roast Show S1. During one of the episodes, Samay brutally roasted Kusha and passed nasty comments on her.
Taking a dig at Kusha Kapila's personal life and divorce, Samay Raina said that the former lives in a broken home. She owns a pet dog, Maya, who is unhappy with her, but lives joyfully with Zorawar. Samay further asked Kusha to send Maya to Zorawar so that the furry pet could live together blissfully. He also passed some nasty comments on his fellow comedian's sex life, which were censored by the show.

Although Kusha was seen enjoying the roast session in the video, the actress now opened up about the episode and reacted strongly. Recently, she hosted an AMA session on her Instagram handle and was asked some interesting questions about her personal life and fitness routine. Meanwhile, a social media user asked Kusha how she handled the brutal roast of Samay and penned:
"How did you manage to handle the brutal roast? Especially Samay?"
Responding to the fan's query, Kusha Kapila shared that she has restricted phrases like Samay Raina, Aashish Solanki, and dark humour from her Instagram feed. The actress also penned a note, mentioning that she is still not able to fully process her divorce and will talk about it someday. Her note can be read as:
“Not my first time on the rodeo. In the large scheme of things, nothing matters. Probably when I have processed all of it, will speak about it on a level-headed podcast (lol do we have any) or maybe never. We will see. This profile continues to be a safe space for my female and queer followers.”

Kusha Kapila got married to Zorawar Singh Ahluwalia in 2017, after dating him for around 4-5 years. However, on June 26, 2023, Kusha took to her Instagram handle and shared a heartfelt statement to announce that she and Zorawar had decided to part ways as they had different aspirations for their lives. Mentioning that all the moments that they have lived together were significant, Kusha revealed that they couldn’t mend their ways despite making sincere efforts to resolve their differences. She also assured her fans that she and Zorawar will continue to co-parent their beloved pet, Maya.
