Kusha Kapila once talked about her first meeting with her ex-husband, Zorawar and how she thought he was the weirdest person.
Indian influencer-turned-Bollywood actress, Kusha Kapila was once madly in love with Zorawar Singh Ahluwalia. The ex-couple was once hailed as one of the most loving couples on social media. Kusha would often feature Zorawar in her comic skits. Together, they are parents to their furbaby, Maya, a golden retriever. In 2023, Kusha and Zorawar announced their separation, leaving their fans in shock. However, all the blame for their separation was put on Kusha, and she faced a lot of blame games.
When Kusha Kapila first time appeared on Kapil Sharma's show, she was asked how she met Zorawar. To which, Kusha stated that she first saw him at her best friend's brother's wedding, and he was dancing like crazy. When she asked him if he was the groom's best friend, he denied it and said that they had met only once. That was enough for Kusha to decide that he was weird. She was quoted as saying:
"Hum mere best friend ki bhai ki shaadi mein mile the or vo bahut zorr se naach rahe the. Aur mai ne kaha ki kya ye aapke ache friend hai, kahe raha hai ki nahi college mein ek hi baari mile hai. Toh itna khush ho ke pta nahi kyo dance kr rahe the vo. Wahi se mujhe laga ki bahut hi ajeeb aadmi hai. Best friend ka bhai hai yeh itna kyo dance kr raha hai. Par vo aaye unhone apne ap ko introducer kra."

Further, Kusha revealed how Zorawar asked her for a drink at the wedding, and she was like it was an open bar. She added that she knew Zorawar had used the same pickup line for her other friend. She said:
"Unhone bola ki mai aapke liye ek drink le kar aao, toh mai ne kaha shaadi hai yeh, open bar hai yeh, yaha open drink mil rahi hai, tu kya drink lekar aayega. Fir mujhe pata chala unhone waisa hi ek question meri dusri friend ko pucha tha. He will going to kill me for this."

Earlier, during the India Today Conclave, Kusha revealed that she was bullied into revealing the news of her separation from Zorawar Ahluwalia untimely. However, the influencer-turned-actress shared that she was glad that she could share the news on her own terms. Kusha added that she doesn't want anyone else to reveal details about her life in the public.

In an interview with MensXP, Zorawar opened up about his divorce. He was asked if he was in a good phase, to which he said 'yes' and added that he had just come out of an eleven-year-old relationship. Zorawar also stated that he is soon going to move into his new home, and he is all set for the new chapter. He was quoted as saying:
"Absolutely, this phase is some thing kind of new I just come out of a relationship. I just came out of an eleven years old relationship. In the next ten days I am going to move into a new home with my baby. My family everyone is there. So everything is good."
Not only this, Zorawar was asked if dealing with heartbreaks in their 30s would become easy. He stated that it definitely gets easier as you know what you are dealing with. He added that after all the heartbreaks and experiences, it is a learning. Zorawar added that you become a better person after all the hiccups. He added that now he knows how he is going to show his 'true self' in front of the next person he falls for.
Well, Zorawar and Kusha spent the loveliest eleven years together, and they are co-parenting their furbaby, Maya. Amidst it all, the ex-couple is busy focusing on their respective career.
