Laiba Khan reveals that everyone wants to work in Bollywood as India values talent rather than looks. She adds that actors in Pakistan get big movies based on appearance and not skills.
Pakistani actress and model, Laiba Khan is one of Lollywood's most prominent emerging artists. She is also the sister of Pakistani actress, Emaan Khan, and the sisters are ruling the industry with their impeccable acting. Laiba has been part of dramas like Baylagaam, Tere Aany Se, Zindagi Aik Paheli and more.
Laiba recently appeared on The Talk Talk Show and highlighted the partiality of the Pakistani entertainment industry, Lollywood. She also revealed that everyone in their hearts wants to go to India and work as an artist there, as Indians give immense respect and love to their artists, unlike in Pakistan, where artists are not that valued.

On The Talk Talk Show, Laiba Khan revealed that the Pakistani industry does not select artists on the basis of their talent. They only pick up actors and actresses who are conventionally pretty, and it doesn’t matter if they know acting. She also emphasised that most actors in Pakistan who are doing A-listed movies have no sense of acting and are only getting work due to their good looks.
Laiba further divulged that she has seen many actors and actresses in Lollywood who don’t even know one per cent of acting, but big banners are casting them because of their good looks. Actresses who are beautiful, fair and cute are prioritised for roles irrespective of their acting skills. Laiba further added:
“Yeha pe meine bohot se actress ko dekhi haijinko acting nehi aati. Actors aur actressed donno, jinko acting zero nehi aati, matlab ek percent bhi nehi aati but who khubsurat hai, pyaari hai, gori hai, you know, patli dubli hai.”

In the same Talk Talk Show, Laiba conceded that every artist wants to work in Bollywood as it is the best place for artists. In Bollywood, they value skills and talents over beauty. She also added that every actor, director and producer wants to work in Bollywood for this very reason. Laiba also added:
“Bollywood taak pohochne ka hum sabka shauk hai. Actors ka, directors ka, producers ka. Woha pe Muh dhuli hui actress ko bhi heroine bana dete hai, bari bari films de dete hai. Woha pe talent ki kadar hai.”
