It was June 2016, when Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor’s son, Tusshar Kapoor became a proud single father to a baby boy through surrogacy. And ever since then, Tusshar has been a hand-on-father to his son, Laksshya Kapoor and his life revolve around his little munchkin. Tusshar embraced parenthood so beautifully that his focus and schedule is set according to his child’s timetable. On June 1, 2018, Tusshar’s little adorable son, Laksshya turned two, and the doting daddy posted a heart-warming wish for his son. Tusshar took his Instagram to share an unseen picture of newborn Laksshya, and captioned it, “Been 2 years since this 'laddoo' came into my life and changed it forever! My angel for eternity, the love that I never ever felt before and will never after!”
The Kapoor family threw a birthday bash for the little one, and it was attended by the toddlers of Bollywood. From Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan’s son, Taimur Ali Khan, Karan Johar’s twins, Roohi Johar and Yash Johar to Kanchi Kaul and Shabbir Ahluwalia’s children, Azai and Ivarr amongst other toddlers of their age marked their presence on this special day. Laksshya Kapoor’s bua, Ekta Kapoor took her Instagram stories to share some glimpse of the birthday party. She posted a video of the cake cutting ceremony which features Laksshya Kapoor feeding cake to his grandfather, Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor feeding a bite to Ekta. Ekta captioned the video as, “We love eating n feeding!!!! #cakelovers” Check out the video here:
Just like their parents Tusshar and Kareena who starred together in Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai and became best of friends, Laksshya and Taimur are also the best toddler buddies in B-town. While the nanhe Nawab looked adorable in a blue dungaree paired with a white shirt, the birthday boy opted for black shirt with denim. Apart from the pictures that have gone viral from the birthday bash, one video that won our hearts of Laksshya and Taimur in which the latter one is grooving to the tunes of a nursery rhyme. Ekta also captioned a picture of Taimur and Laksshya and captioned it, ''Veere Di Pudding''. Karan Johar was twinning with his daughter, Roohi Johar in pink and shared an Insta story in which his daughter is photobombing his picture with son, Yash Johar. Veere Di Wedding producer Ekta was all smiles for the camera as it was a double celebration for her. It was her darling nephew’s birthday, but also her film got release on the same day and received a great opening. In an earlier interview, Tusshar Kapoor talked about the possibility of Laksshya and Taimur being future BFFs, and was quoted as saying, “That completely depends on what school they go to. Kids make friends at schools, colleges and then in the profession that they choose. It’s too filmy to predict that Laksshya and Taimur will be best friends too. People like assuming things and that’s fine. I grew up with a lot of my father’s friends’ kids. I had Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Goldie Behl, Hrithik Roshan and today, we’re just family friends. Further talking about his relationship with Kareena, he stated, “It’s the same. We don’t meet that often. Now, thanks to our kids, at least we meet every now and then. The kids are not really aware because they still don’t know each other. At this age, they are just happy playing with each other. They are just familiar with the face. They are too young to recognise that strongly and miss each other. Taimur and Laksshya are at an age where they want to be around each other to just play. The whole sharing and playing, with these kids only will come when they are two-three.”
