On February 16, 2011, Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupati had tied the knot in a civil ceremony and then, on February 20, 2011, the couple had exchanged the wedding vows in a grand Chruch wedding in Goa. And on January 20, 2012, they had welcomed their little angel, Saira Bhupati. Since then her life has turned into a happy paradise and she often shares snippets of her life on her Instagram handle. On June 7, 2019, Lara had posted a beautiful wish for her husband, and had written, "Happy birthday to our main man @mbhupathi!!! May your arms and heart always be full of the things you love and that love you back immensely!"
On December 19, 2019, Lara took to her Instagram handle and shared how her daughter, Saira decorated the home and set up the cute Christmas crib. From setting up clay statues of the nativity scene to putting fairy lights around it, her daughter beautifully decorated their home. She captioned it as "Our little Christmas manger.... made entirely and decorated, by our daughter." Take a look at the picture below:
In an interview with the PTI, Lara had opened up on motherhood and had shared, "You spend many sleepless nights even before the child is born, figuring out whether you'll be a good mother, be able to live up to everything that's expected. But no amount of worry is going to prepare you when the child is born. Each child goes through its own phases as well. One point of time they are the best-behaved child and then they are the opposite. The day you decide to become a parent, you're signing up for one of the greatest adventures of life which doesn't stop ever." In a recent interaction with media at the launch of Pediasure's new flavour, Lara had opened up on motherhood journey. She had further shared, "I think no mother with their first child is really 100 percent prepared for parenthood until it happens to you. It is pretty much something that you learn on the go with each day. It doesn't matter if your child is one day old or whether she is 21 years of age. It is constantly evolving, and each parent's experience is completely different, but it has been a wonderful ride. My daughter has been literally my life's greatest teacher and she has pushed all the limits as (far as) possible because she is at that age right now.”
She had further added, "She is pushing it how far it can go before mom erupts, but it is fun and wonderful. Mahesh has been a wonderful and hands-on dad. The minute you have kids, everybody becomes an encyclopaedia on your child. So everybody wants to advise you including your mother, mother-in-law, sisters and friends...and obviously, it was tried and taste kind of pattern because your child is not going to do things like other kids do."
