In 2016, popular television actress, Pratyusha Banerjee, whom we best remember as Anandi from the iconic show, Balika Vadhu had passed away by suicide on April 1, 2016. The 24-year-old actress was found dead and hanging in her Oshiwara apartment in Mumbai. Her suicide had brought up many controversies and put a lot of allegations on her boyfriend, Rahul Raj. Many industry friends of the couple had also claimed that Rahul was violent with Pratyusha.
According to several media reports back in time, it was reported that Pratyusha Banerjee had allegedly taken the drastic step due to her personal issues. Pratyusha was in a relationship with Rahul Raj, and they were also planning to get married soon. However, trouble had reportedly brewed between them, which had led Pratyusha to take this step.
Talking about Pratyusha Banerjee's last post on social media, it was on October 26, 2015. It was a cutesy picture of the actress with her then-boyfriend, Rahul Raj Singh, before entering into the reality show, Power Couple. Along with the lovely picture, Pratyusha had penned a note in which she had informed her massive fanbase that she and Rahul would participate in the show.
Her note could be read as "Last pic before we enter the power couple house... Wont be uploading pics for a very long time ... So wish me n rahul luck n miss us.. Lots of Love to all our friends… Ll miss u all tooooooo…May the best couple win."
The nation woke up to the devastating news of the sudden demise of Kaal fame, Kushal Punjabi, on the morning of December 27, 2019. Kushal had won the TV reality game show, Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout and had also featured in popular Bollywood films like Lakshya, Salaam-e-Ishq, and Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal. The actor had also made a name for himself with television shows like Kasam Se, Sssshhh... Phir Koi Hai, Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat and many more.
For the unversed, the dancer, model and actor, Kushal Punjabi, was found dead in his Mumbai home, and it came as a huge shock for the entire entertainment industry. Kushal Punjabi had tied the knot with his European girlfriend, Audrey Dolhen, in November 2015 in a private ceremony in Goa, and the couple was blessed with a son on April 5, 2016, whom they named Kian.

Born in New York City and raised in London, Bollywood actress, Jiah Khan had decided to end her life at the age of 25 when her alleged relationship with Sooraj Pancholi, son of Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, had gone for a toss. Post the investigation and Jiah's suicide note, Sooraj was reportedly charged with abetment to suicide. Jiah Khan's suicide case is still one of the most controversial cases in the history of the Indian judiciary.
However, talking about her last post on social media, the actress had taken to her Twitter handle on May 24, 2013, and had informed her massive fanbase about her mental condition.
Jiah Khan's last tweet could be read as "So sorry I have been off twitter! Took a bit of a break from twitter verse.. sometimes u need a sabbatical to recollect your thoughts." Jiah Khan passed away on June 3, 2013.
Popular Indian TV actress, Sejal Sharma was found dead at her home in Mumbai on January 25, 2020. The actress known for her acting skills in the show, Dil Toh Happy Hai, was reportedly living a stressful life, following the ill health of her parents.
After her demise, a suicide note was also reportedly discovered by the police officials, in which the young actress had penned everything about her traumatic life. Talking about Sejal Sharma's last post on social media, then it was on January 1, 2020.
The actress had taken to her IG handle and had dropped a stunning picture of herself in an all-black outfit and had looked lovely as usual. Along with the picture, Sejal had written, "Happy 2020 Pic credits @casaurabhpatwari."
The actor, who had stunned everyone with his acting in films and web series like Black Friday, Parzania, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai, Mahatma v/s Gandhi, Paatal Lok, Hostages, and The Family Man (Season 2). The actor was often regarded as one of the most educated and intelligent actors ever in the Hindi film industry, as he had graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Physics. The actor had also worked in many Hollywood films like Quickstand, Outsourced, and One Night With The King.
Sadly, on November 12, 2020, at the age of 53, Asif Basra was found hanging in a private complex in his favourite vacation destination, McLeod Ganj, in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. After the investigation, it was revealed that Asif was living there for the last five years, without informing many people. Talking about Asif's last post, it was a monochrome picture, which he had posted on February 9, 2020, in which he could be seen looking straight into the camera.

It was on February 15, 2021, when late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput's MS Dhoni: The Untold Story co-star, Sandeep Nahar, who had portrayed the character of Butta Singh in the film had killed himself by hanging in the bedroom of his Goregaon apartment. However, before committing suicide, Sandeep Nahar had posted a few clips on his Facebook handle, in which he had stated that because of his severe differences with his wife and mother-in-law, he had decided to end his miserable life.
Sandeep Nahar had also highlighted the dirty politics in Bollywood, which had also affected him professionally and mentally. Sandeep had also left a note in which he had clearly mentioned that he had tried to cope with all the misery of his life, but in the end, death seems much easier than living. Talking about Sandeep Nahar's last post on social media, it was a heartbreaking video on his Facebook handle, in which he had revealed about his miserable life.
Coming back to Sandeep Nahar's suicide note, an excerpt from the same could be read as "I would have died by suicide a long time ago, but I chose to give myself the time and hope that things would get better, but they didn't. I now have nowhere to go. I don't know what awaits me after I take this step, but I've been through hell in this life."
On August 6, 2020, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii fame, Samir Sharma was found dead at his Mumbai residence. The actor was known for his roles as Nitin in Dil Kya Chahta Hai and Krishna Agarwal in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. Samir Sharma was last seen as Shaurya Maheshwari in the show, Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke.
Samir Sharma was from Delhi and had shifted to Bangalore to work for an advertising agency, and for Radio City. He had made his Bollywood debut with a supporting role in Hasee To Phasee. At the age of 44, Samir had reportedly taken a drastic step in his life and had committed suicide at his Mumbai residence.
As per the reports, Samir Sharma's body was found by the night watchman of his apartment, after which he had alerted the whole society. Based on the condition, the reports state that the police suspects Samir had died two days ago. Sameer Sharma's last post on social media was on July 29, 2020, and it was the picture of a coastline, probably taken in Mumbai.

Late Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput was everyone's favourite because of his struggle story and super-humble nature despite being a big name in the Indian film industry. The actor had stunned everyone with his exceptional performances in movies like Kai Po Che!, Kedarnath, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Sonchiriya, and Chhichhore.
