Late television actress, Pratyusha Banerjee's ex-boyfriend, Rahul Raj Singh embraced fatherhood. His wife, Saloni Sharma delivered a baby girl, and they are enjoying the best phase of their life. For those who don't know, Rahul Raj Singh and Pratyusha were dating each other when the actress ended her life on April 1, 2016. Rumours were rife that she was under a lot of pressure because of her boyfriend.
Rahul Raj Singh and his wife, Saloni Sharma welcomed a baby girl on January 26, 2023. Sharing his excitement, Rahul expressed his happiness in an interaction with The Times Of India. He revealed that he is on top of the world. He also shared that they have named their daughter, Shivanya, as they are the devotees of Lord Shiva. He was quoted as saying:
"We feel blessed and on top of the world. Our daughter is very cute. We have named her Shivanya. As devotees of Lord Shiva, it was natural to finalise a name, which has a connection with Him. Shivanya means the one who is limitless and inexhaustible."

Rahul also shared that he is ready to become his child's best friend. He also added that he is aware of the sleepless nights and daddy duties and he is looking forward to it. Rahul stated that he is going to seek guidance from his own father.
Rahul Raj Singh got married to Saloni Sharma in 2018. The actor had gone through a difficult phase after the tragic death of Pratyusha Banerjee in 2016. The late actress' family blamed him and he went through a media trial and police investigation.
In an earlier media interaction with The Times Of India, Rahul had revealed that he had gone through a rought patch and have come out stronger. He had shared that the arrival of his baby would bring a lot of good news in his life. And he might even come back to acting. The actor had shared that he miss hearing the three words, 'lights, camera and action'.
