Rupali Ganguly's legal notice to Esha Verma caused the latter to delete all her posts. The 'Anupamaa' fame's lawyer, Sana Raees Khan is viewing this as a victory, while Rupali made a cryptic post.
Rupali Ganguly has been dominating headlines for a while now. However, it has been for all the wrong reasons, as her stepdaughter, Esha Verma, came forward with serious accusations against the Anupamaa fame. According to Esha, Rupali was not only responsible for destroying her parents' marriage, but she had also inflicted severe mental trauma on her. Esha claimed that Rupali had gone especially far with her mother, causing her emotional distress and even physically attacking her once. On Rupali's part, the actress decided to stay silent even though her husband and Esha's father, Ashwin did try to defend her. However, Rupali has finally made her move by taking legal action against Esha. The actress' lawyer, Sana Raees Khan, has opened up about the same.
On November 11, 2024, Rupali Ganguly slapped her stepdaughter, Esha Verma, with a Rs. 50 crore defamation suit. The actress is seeking compensation on the grounds that Esha's claims are false and derogatory. Not long after Esha was served the legal notice, she deleted all posts mentioning Rupali and her husband, Ashwin. In fact, she even made her Instagram account private.
Well, Rupali Ganguly's lawyer, Sana Raees Khan, views this as a sign of their victory. Talking about how Esha's swift actions signal victory for Rupali and her team, Sana told IANS:
"Her stepdaughter has taken down the defamatory posts following our legal notice and deleted her Twitter account, which we see as a meaningful step toward justice. This outcome reflects our victory for truth and accountability, reaffirming that reckless and harmful statements have no place in the public sphere. This definitely sets a strong precedent on importance of responsible communication, especially when it concerns the reputation and dignity of others."
Sana Raees Khan further stated that Esha Verma's deletion of her derogatory posts is strong evidence of her lies and deceit. Talking about how her actions strengthened their case, the former Bigg Boss contestant said:
"The deletion of defamatory posts following our legal notice establishes not only an acknowledgment in her part of wrongdoing and dissemination of falsehood but also the strengthen and validity of our case. It underscores the importance of accountability in matters of reputation and integrity, particularly when false information has the potential to harm one's personal and professional life."
The news about Rupali Ganguly serving Esha Verma a legal notice is continuing to gain momentum. So much so, that even netizens are weighing in on the debate and taking sides on whether Rupali's move was right or not. It is worth noting that Rupali herself has yet to say a single word about all the drama. However, she took to her Instagram story not to long ago with a cryptic post. Rupali's story featured a quote that could be read as:
"There are times when you need the silence of animals to recover from the noise of humans."
