'Lock Upp' contestant, Mandana Karimi's ex-brother-in-law and actor, Gautam Gupta, reacted to her allegations about his brother, Gaurav Gupta. Check it out!
Popular Iranian model and actress, Mandana Karimi has been in the headlines since her entry into Kangana Ranaut's controversial reality show, Lock Upp. In such a short span of time, Mandana has overshadowed many contestants to become the ultimate face of the show. For the unversed, Mandana Karimi had left everyone surprised when the actress had announced her intimate court marriage with her boyfriend, Gaurav Gupta, on January 25, 2017.
Later, on March 5, the then-much-in-love couple was pronounced husband and wife in a traditional wedding. However, sadly, barely two months into their happy married life, Mandana had filed for a divorce from her then-husband, Gaurav Gupta. Not only this, but Mandana Karimi had also shocked everyone by accusing her then-estranged husband, Gaurav Gupta, of domestic violence. And after a lot of chaos, it was in 2021 when Mandana and Gaurav had finally got divorced after a separation of four long years.

In an interview with ETimes, Mandana Karimi's ex-brother-in-law and popular television actor, Gautam Gupta, opened up about all the allegations his ex-bhabi had made against his brother, Gaurav Gupta and his family. The actor stated that he didn't want to disclose all the terrible things Mandana had done to his brother and their family after marriage. Gautam explained that he didn't want to turn his family's personal conflicts into a public drama. Hence, he prefers to remain silent. He said:
"If we talk about the things she has done after her marriage with my brother Gaurav. But we don't want to make our family into a drama. Why react when people talk only about abuse and accusations?"

Going further in the interview, when Gautam Gupta was asked to react to the things and accusations his ex-sister-in-law, Mandana Karimi, had made against his mother in the media. Also, Gautam titled his brother, Gaurav Gupta's marriage with Mandana Karimi as a 'mistake' and thanked God for ending their relationship before something bad had happened in their family. Sharing his thoughts on the same, Gautam retorted:
"My mother has thousands of respectable ladies in her circle. Mistakes can happen. People can be misled. But thank God it got over before something terribly dirty happened."
In the same interview, Gautam Gupta also revealed that his brother, Gaurav Gupta doesn't care about his ex-wife, Mandana Karimi, anymore, and he's very much happy in his life. When Gautam was asked to react to Mandana's confession inside the controversial reality show, Lock Upp, in which she had revealed she was once in a relationship with a filmmaker and had got pregnant. The actress had shockingly revealed that she had to do an abortion because the director had tricked her. Now, Gautam shared his reaction on the same and said:
"Gaurav wouldn't care a damn about her, now. She's stupid. Aisa bolne se usko aage taqleef hogi zindagi mein. People will laugh at her. Does one play a game in a show like this? Frankly, for us, she is inconsequential."
At the end of his conversation, Gautam Gupta also opened up about his brother, Gaurav Gupta's marriage plans and admitted that his brother is all set to tie the knot once again. However, he added that his brother is fully-concentrated on his work. Reflecting on his brother, Gaurav's decision of tying the knot for the second time, Gautam said:
"Yes, he might- but we'll decide that when the time is right. Right now, we are concentrating on work."
It'll be interesting to see how Mandana Karimi will react to her ex-devar, Gautam Gupta's statements, once she's out from the reality show, Lock Upp!
