Lock Upp: Mandana Karimi Says Ex-Hubby Gaurav Gupta Slept With Whoever She Knew Before Their Divorce

'Lock Upp' contestant, Mandana Karimi opened up about her ex-husband, Gaurav Gupta and had shockingly revealed that he had slept with whoever she knew before their divorce in 2021.

Popular Iranian model and actress, Mandana Karimi is currently a contestant on Kangana Ranaut's controversial reality show, Lock Upp, and in such a short span, she has become the face of the show. From accusing Ali Merchant of masturbating in the bathroom to her constant fights with other contestants on the show, Mandana is surely one of the strongest contestants on the show. Once again, she is in the headlines after she opened up about her ex-husband, Gaurav Gupta and their tragic married life.

For the unversed, Mandana Karimi surprised everyone when she had announced her less-hyped court marriage with her long-time boyfriend, Gaurav Gupta, on January 25, 2017. Later, on March 5, they were pronounced husband and wife in a traditional Hindu wedding. Barely two months after she had tied the nuptial knot with Gaurav, she had filed for a divorce from him and had shocked everyone by alleging her estranged husband had domestically violated her. Finally, in 2021, Mandana and Gaurav had got divorced after a separation of four years.

In the recent episode of the controversial reality show, Lock Upp, Mandana Karimi shared a series of shocking revelations about her ex-husband, Gaurav Gupta. The renowned actress was in a conversation with co-contestant, Azma Fallah and shared that she and Gaurav were separated for four-long years before getting divorced in 2021. During these four years, Mandana revealed that her ex-husband had never tried to reach out to her and also accused him of sleeping with whosoever she knew. She also stated that Gaurav had acted like she didn't even exist during their separation phase. Recalling the heartbreaking phase, Mandana told Azma:

"We were then separated for four years. We got divorced recently in 2021. In these four years of separation, he slept with whoever I knew. He pretended as though I didn't even exist."

Going further in the conversation, Mandana Karimi told co-contestant, Azma Fallah that she had got married to her ex-husband, Gaurav Gupta, at the age of 27. The actress recalled their love story and shared that she and Gaurav had dated each other for two years before getting married. After which, they had decided to take the plunge and had got engaged 7 to 8 months prior to their marriage. The Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3 actress also revealed that she and Gaurav had a court marriage and admitted that living with him after marriage for 8 months wasn't a good experience. She explained:

"We were dating each other for two and a half years and then got engaged. We were engaged for 7-8 months and then got married, which was court marriage. We lived together for eight months, and then it was just not good."

Mandana Karimi also opened up about her ex-mother-in-law during her heart-to-heart conversation with Azma Fallah. The actress recalled the massive turnaround in her ex-husband, Gaurav Gupta's mother's mentality and nature after their marriage. Mandana explained that before tying the knot with Gaurav, his mother used to send doughnuts and flowers to her, and they had also gone on multiple coffee dates. However, after her marriage to Gaurav, she had turned drastically. Recalling the same, Mandana said:

"Later, she started telling me 'You can't talk to that girl, she's a wh**e because she is single' and now you are getting married. Why are you talking to these people? If I went anywhere alone, she made sure that she called everyone and checked if I was there. They changed and suddenly they were like, 'salwar kameez pehno, mandir ke saamne baitho'."

For the unversed, Mandana Karimi was the second runner-up in the controversial reality show, Bigg Boss 9 (2015).
