Sonakshi Sinha's brother reacted to the reports of his absence from the former's wedding, and then asking for time to answer the questions about it.
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal's low-key and sober wedding has dominated the headlines. The duo finally took the ultimate step forward for their 7-year-long relationship and got married to one another on June 23, 2024. Since the time reports about Sonakshi and Zaheer's wedding surfaced online, it had been claimed that the actress' family was not happy with her decision to marry Zaheer. Later, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha dismissed all such claims by attending their daughter's wedding. What raised eyebrows was the absence of Sonakshi's brothers, Luv and Kussh from their sister's wedding.
Amid this, reports claimed that Luv Sinha wanted a few days to talk about skipping Sonakshi Sinha's wedding. As per the reports that earlier surfaced online, it was mentioned that although, each of Sonakshi's family members had been a part of her wedding, Luv and Kussh were nowhere to be seen there. It was also reported that Luv had asked for one to two days to respond to the questions if he would feel like so. However, taking to his IG handle, Luv had reacted to the reports, and re-sharing the report of the portal, he wrote:
"A ‘Source’. They need better sources.”

Sonakshi Sinha's wedding with her longtime beau, Zaheer Iqbal had created a stir on the internet, with limitless trolling towards the duo, which was meaningless. However, it was also speculated that the actress' family might have disapproved of her wedding. It all began when Shatrughan Sinha stated that he had no idea about Sonakshi's wedding, and he and Poonam were waiting to be informed. Such a response left everyone to sense that something was wrong.
Later, when Luv Sinha was asked about the same, he, in an interview with The Times Of India, stated that he had no comment or involvement in this matter. Luv's comment left all thinking if he was upset with Sonakshi's decision of marrying Zaheer. Another thing was that when Sonakshi was making her bridal entry, the phooloon ka chaddhar, which the brothers generally hold, was held by others and not Luv and Kussh, which ignited the discord rumours.

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal tied the knot in a registered wedding. For the same, the actress chose to wear her mom, Poonam Sinha's wedding saree and jewels, and it added a special touch to the actress' bridal look. Zaheer, on the other hand, donned a chikankari kurta, and the duo looked so in love, as they hugged one another to celebrate their union. For her reception, the actress opted for a red-hued Banarasi saree from Raw Mango, and it was adorned with sun and moon prints, while for the afterparty, she wore an embellished kurta set from Anita Dongre.
