Former Indian skipper, Mahendra Singh Dhoni loves to spend some quality time with his family despite his busy schedule. Recently, he was spotted having a great pool time with his daughter, Ziva.
Family comes first, but if you are in a profession which includes lots of travelling and especially, when you are representing your country, then you don’t get much time to spend with your family. And, cricket is such a profession, where your time is mostly gone in travelling out of the country and playing matches. Cricketers miss their families during the long tours and the moment they get time, they spend it with their loved ones. Similarly, Dhoni is also making the most of his downtime with his family.
M.S Dhoni and Sakshi Dhoni had tied the knot on July 4, 2010, and had entered the parenthood brigade on February 6, 2015. The couple was blessed with a little angel, Ziva Dhoni. Ziva is her father’s biggest cheerleader during his matches. Just like her father, Ziva too, is a star. The little munchkin has her own Instagram account, which is handled by her mom, Sakshi. The social media handle is full of her vacation pictures with mom and dad as well as her pictures while cheering for her daddy during matches. Take a look at the pictures of the star kid: (Recommended Read: Divyanka Tripathi Celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi With Hubby Vivek Dahiya And Her In-Laws In Chandigarh)
Yesterday (September 11, 2019), a number of pictures were posted on Ziva's Instagram account wherein she could be seen enjoying a pool party with her father, M.S. Dhoni and chachu, Hardik Pandya. The caption along with the pictures was as, “Baby shark”. And, we must admit Ziva was looking a billion bucks in the pictures! In the photos, she is seen having a gala time with her daddy, Dhoni and chachu, Hardik. Ziva was wearing a colourful swimming costume and a cute hairband.
In a throwback interview, Indian cricketer, M.S. Dhoni had once talked about how his daughter, Ziva Dhoni has changed him as a person. He had said, “I don't know whether it has changed me as a cricketer, as a person yes of course because daughters are very close to their fathers." He had further added, “In my case the problem is when she (Ziva) was born I was not there (three years ago), most of the time I was playing cricket, so everything bad somehow is thrown at me (to deal with).” (Suggested Read: Alia Bhatt Looks Like Sunshine In Yellow As She Joins BF, Ranbir Kapoor For Rishi Ji's Welcome Party)
Mahendra Singh Dhoni had further talked about how the family ensures that Ziva falls in line by the mere mention of his name. He had added, “Khana nahi kha rahi hai, papa aa jayenge khana khao (when she is not eating foot, she is told dad will come to have food), is she is doing something wrong, papa aa jaeynge mat karo. So, in a way she looks at me and she is slightly on the back-foot.”
M.S. Dhoni is mostly travelling out of India for his matches and doesn’t get much time to spend with his wife, Sakshi Dhoni and daughter, Ziva Dhoni. But, it is his lovely wife and adorable daughter who doesn’t leave any moment to spend time with Dhoni. We have spotted Sakshi and Ziva many times accompanying Dhoni for his matches. Recently, Ziva had accompanied her dad, Dhoni for his entire IPL journey. Talking about the same, he had said, “I had a wonderful time with her (Ziva), she was there for the whole of IPL and one of her biggest requests used to be I have to go to the ground, that is lawn for her. And also there are a lot of kids in the team.”
Talking about whether his daughter, Ziva follows cricket and how she spends her time during the matches, Dhoni had stated, “I would get up by 1:30, 2:30 or 3 in the afternoon. Ziva is up by the time, she gets up by 8.30 or 9, has her breakfast, engages with everyone, starts playing... I feel it just relaxes us a bit more when the kids are playing with each other. I don't know how much she follows cricket, how much she understands, but I have to bring her one day for the post-match presentation and she (can) just start answering all the questions.” (Also Read: Kamya Panjabi Finds Love Again After A Divorce And Multiple Link-Ups, All Set To Marry Him In 2020)
