In these strange times, things become hard to handle when you are away from your loved ones. Scroll down as Maanayata Dutt reveals how she is missing her husband, Sanjay Dutt amidst lockdown!
The COVID-19 outbreak in the world has left everyone scared and locked inside their homes. The virus has put everyone's life on an abrupt halt. While for some it is a happy time of exploring new things, for others it is a challenging time. There are few, who are feeling blessed to spend this much time with their families, there are others, who are left alone because of the lockdown. Currently, almost half of the world is under lockdown due to the pandemic. Sadly, these times have become more challenging for the Dutt family as they are away from each other. While Sanjay Dutt is in Mumbai, Maanayata Dutt is struck in Dubai with her kids, Iqra, and Shahraan.
Recently, in an interview with Etimes, Maanayata opened up on the same and shared how she wished that her husband, Sanjay was with her in this lockdown. She shared, "I just wish we were together as a family and not living in different countries. Things would definitely have been easy and lockdown wouldn’t have looked like a task as this would have been the perfect time for Sanjay to spend time with the kids. So this is something I regret a little. The lockdown was sudden and unexpected, so being away from home feels bad but in the end, we make the most of it." Maanayata also shared how she is keeping her kids entertained inside the house and said, "The first few days were a little crazy and they did get irritated about the sudden impositions, but they are very understanding kids. The best part is they have online video classes for good 5-6 hours daily as part of their school curriculum. I always carry a stock of children reading books with me whenever I am travelling. We were in UAE when the lockdown was imposed, so thankfully books have helped too. And since Sanjay is back home (In Mumbai), the kids often video call him and they keep themselves entertained. The boys - Sanjay and Shahraan - continue with their normal masti and they keep themselves occupied."
Just like Maanayata Dutt, Sanjay Dutt is also feeling the same emotions. In an interview with the Bombay Times, the actor had revealed that he is spending a lot of time connecting with his family virtually, which is the most important thing in his life. He had shared that when the lockdown was announced, unfortunately, Maanayata and his children were already in Dubai.
He had further added, "For me, they are everything. Thanks to technology, I can see and talk to them multiple times in a day, and yet, I miss them terribly. These times teach you about the fragility of life, and the value of moments spent with your loved ones. We should count our blessings, and never take them for granted."
