Producer, Madhu Mantena added his wife, Ira Trivedi's surname to his name on social media post their wedding.
Popular producer, Madhu Mantena is living the happiest phase of his life as he got married to the love of his life, Ira Trivedi. The duo got married on June 11, 2023, in an intimate ceremony and later hosted a lavish reception which was graced by many A-listed stars of Bollywood. And now, Madhu broke one of the major societal norms as he added his wife’s surname to his name.
As per the traditional norms, a woman adds her husband’s surname to her name after marriage. But, Madhu did the exact opposite and added his wife’s surname on social media and changed it to Madhu Mantena Trivedi, giving husband goals to the millennials.

On June 15, 2023, Madhu Mantena took to his IG handle and posted pictures of his wife, Ira from their honeymoon. For the unversed, Madhu Mantena’s wife, Ira Trivedi is a yoga instructor, columnist and author. In the pictures shared by Madhu, Ira was seen doing some asanas near a pool. Dressed in a white monokini, Ira looked sexy as she performed some difficult postures with ease. He captioned the pictures as:
“Now I am just showing off my wife.”

Talking about Madhu Mantena and Ira Trivedi’s wedding, the duo tied the knot in the presence of their close ones. For the wedding, Ira donned a beautiful pink-hued ombre-shaded saree that featured golden prints all over it. She teamed it with an embroidered blouse, statement jewellery, minimal makeup and bun hairdo. On the other hand, Madhu opted for an ivory-hued kurta which he styled with a dhoti and doshala.
The producer, Madhu Mantena tied the knot twice in his lifetime. Almost 10 years ago, Madhu proposed to Ira, but destiny had other plans for them. At that time, Ira refused Madhu, and he went on to marry Masaba. For the unversed, Madhu and Masaba tied the knot on June 2, 2015, in a court marriage. However, for reasons best known to them, they divorced in September 2019. And now as Madhu is happily married to Ira, Masaba has also found love in the arms of her second husband, Satyadeep Misra.
