The COVID-19 outbreak has ruined many plans. It has forced us to stay inside our homes. While half of the summer has gone with the strict overnight lockdown rules imposed by the government, looks like the rest of the year will also be the same. The coronavirus had created a 'new normal world' with PPE kits and compulsory masks to stay safe, and in the midst of it, travel has become a daring task of 'Khatron Ke Khiladi'. We are left with no choice than to scroll through our photo gallery and get nostalgic while remembering the good old days when social distancing was an alien subject. And Bollywood actress, Madhuri Dixit is also doing the same as she often posts throwback pictures from her vacations around the globe. Last month, Madhuri had shared a picture from the day when her family had gotten their orange belt in taekwondo. Yes, Madhuri is an orange belt holder. She had posted a throwback picture from the memorable day and had written, "Testing day for our orange belts. Breaking boards and learning Taekwondo together was an amazing family experience in focus, discipline & hard work!"
On August 19, 2020, Madhuri took to her Instagram handle and remembered her Sri Lankan cooking class which she had attended with her darling hubby, Dr Shriram Nene. She posted a picture from their class with a group of people, and wrote, "The Sri Lankan cooking class we took last year has definitely come in handy during this lockdown. Which cuisine do you guys enjoy the most?" Check it out below:
For those who don't know, on October 17, 1999, Madhuri Dixit had tied the knot with the prince of her life, Dr Shriram Nene, and had added 'Nene' to her surname. Dr Nene was a close pal of Madhuri's's brother, Ajit Dixit, who had requested her sister to meet this charming man for once, and it was the start of their happily-ever-after. After three months of courtship, the two decided had to get married. Earlier in a media interaction, when someone had asked her why she had gotten married at the peak of her career, she had stated, "Because I was in love." In an interview with Serena Menon, Madhuri had talked about the reason to leave Bollywood. She had said, "Leaving Bollywood wasn't planned. One thing I was clear about — the moment I met the right person in my life, I wouldn't hesitate. I had a simple life at home and was never part of the scene. So it wasn't tough leaving my career behind, because everybody has dreams and a big part of mine was to have a family — a husband and children."
