In a recent interview, Madhuri Dixit revealed if she is really venturing into politics by contesting for Lok Sabha elections anytime soon.
Madhuri Dixit is the most beautiful actress in Bollywood. The diva never skips a chance to leave her fans mesmerised with her divine beauty, acting chops, pleasant personality, and more. The diva made her acting debut with the movie, Abodh. Apart from that she was also seen in several other movies like Dil, Beta, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, and Dil To Pagal Hai, among many others. The actress was last seen in Maja Ma. However, for a long time, reports have been rife that Madhuri is all set to grace the politics soon. And recently, the actress reacted to the same.
Recently, Madhuri Dixit and her husband, Dr. Sriram Nene conversed with Zee 24 Taas. During the interview, Madhuri was asked about the ongoing rumours about her joining politics soon. To this, the actress said that she is not interested in joining politics. The actress further quipped that every time there are elections, such speculations about her spread out. Sharing that she is not at all interested in politics, Madhuri stated:
"No, not at all, I have no interest in politics. Every time there is an election, these rumours are spread about me. But no, I’m not interested.”

In the same interview, Madhuri Dixit also added that she is well aware of all the discussions around her joining politics soon. The actress shared she has no intention of contesting under any political party. Madhuri also asked people not to spread such rumours. Meanwhile, Madhuri's hubby, Dr Sriram Nene, talked about his opinions on politics in the same interview. He said that from his point of view, the one who does good work should be supported. Dr. Sriram Nene said:
"We support everyone, we are impartial. But if someone does good work, he should be supported.”
A month ago, several reports suggested that Madhuri Dixit is all set to take part in the Lok Sabha elections for 2024. As per the reports, the actress decided to contest from North West Mumbai, and she would fight the elections for the Bharatiya Janata Party. Although no such reports were confirmed, such news was fuelled after Madhuri Dixit was spotted with several politicians, including Ajit Pawar and Praful Patel. It was during the 2023 World Cup India vs New Zealand semi-final match when the actress and her hubby, Dr Sriram Nene, graced the Wankhede stadium alongside BJP leader Ashish Shelar.
Talking about her personal life, Madhuri Dixit, apart from being a tremendous actress, is a doting mother to her kids, Arin Nene and Ryan Nene. Although Madhuri is one of the most popular actresses in Bollywood, her sons have maintained a safe distance from the limelight. Once, in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, talking about her kids' upbringing, Madhuri stated that she had given her kids a very normal upbringing.

The actress also shared how her stardom never came in the way between her and her sons. Talking more about the same, the diva also said that both kids are very calm in terms of their mom's popularity. Talking about her professional front, Madhuri Dixit is currently venturing into production, and she is all set to produce her first project, which is a Marathi movie, Panchak.
