Madhuri Dixit's first appearance on 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' in 2001 was super adorable as she kept blushing after she talked with her husband, Dr. Shriram Nene.
Madhuri Dixit is one of the iconic actresses of Hindi cinema. She won hearts with her performances in films like Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Devdas, Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Khal Nayak, and many more. However, after tasting success and being India's top actress, she left the filmy duniya after tying the knot with USA-based doctor, Shriram Nene. The actress shifted her base to kickstart her life in a place which knows nothing about her stardom. Recently, we stumbled upon an old video of then-just-married, Madhuri Dixit, who had made her first appearance on Kaun Banega Crorepati in 2001.
Madhuri Dixit tied the knot with Shriram Nene on October 17, 1999. The actress appeared on the quiz reality show, Kaun Banega Crorepati, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan in 2001. In a clip that has been trending on the internet, we can see Madhuri struck on a 'surgery' based question for which she used a lifeline, 'Phone-O-Friend. When Amitabh asked her whom she would like to call. She blushed and said, "Dr. Shriram Nene." To this, Amitabh quipped:
"Dr. Shriram Nene, Pati Dev se baat karna chah rahi hai aap."

Shriram Nene instantly helped Madhuri without even asking for the option. Madhuri gave a formal 'thanks', and she was about to say something but stopped in the middle. Amitabh noticed her action and stated that she could say whatever she wanted to say, which further left her blushing. Amitabh Bachchan joked:
"You could say, no problem. Husband hai aapke, aap unhe kuch bhi bula sakti hai. Hum log sab apne kaano mein ungli daal lege."

In the times when being a star would give any actor or actress a 'high', Madhuri always stayed rooted. There has not been a single report, wherein Madhuri's name was dragged into a catfight. Sometime back, a Reddit user shared an old video from her film's shoot. In the clip, Madhuri was doing her own touch-up like a pro, while someone was holding a mirror for her, and another person was helping her in getting her look on point. Soon, Madhuri did her hair and gave a fantastic shot.

As soon as the video was uploaded, netizens flooded the comments section. One user wrote, "She’s perfection. There’s another great BTS video floating around from Prem Granth where she’s killing it. I wish the 90s stars had the scripts and budgets they do today, it would have been magnificent." Another commented, "The way she’s doing her make up on her own.. honestly, applying makeup that well is a skill every actress had back then, of course it was mainly due to a producer’s financial constraints but still , the current generation could never."
Salman and Madhuri's jodi was loved by millions, but the latter denied working with him in Hum Saath Saath Hain. In an old interview with Rediff.com, Madhuri shared that she didn't want to portray bhabhi-dewar role with Salman, as she had romanced him in Hum Aapke Hain Kaun. She had revealed that in a scene, Salman had touched his bhabhi, Sadhana's (played by Tabu) feet. Madhuri was sure that people would not like them to play the devar-bhabhi role.
However, Sooraj Barjatiya was eager to work with Madhuri in the film, Hum Saath Saath Hain, but the latter didn't want to play a smaller role after the success of Hum Apke Hain Kaun. After much discussion, Sooraj dropped the idea of casting Madhuri in the film. The actress was quoted as saying:
"There is a scene in the film where Salman touches Tabu’s feet and he hugs Tabu. So there has to be this bhabhi-devar feeling between the two. But if you put me in Tabu’s place and visualize Salman touching my feet, I think people would have hooted in the theatres. I think its right, because of HAHK, which was a love story between Salman and me."
