Recently, Madhuri Dixit opened up about how her sons, Ryan and Arin, never watch her films but made an exception for 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'. She further shared their reaction to the film.
The gorgeous Madhuri Dixit Nene has been riding the waves of success with her latest film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 . The stunner, who is remembered just as much for her graceful dance movies as her versatile acting, has every reason to be overjoyed. After all, this film marks her first box-office hit in five years since she starred in the 2019 comedy film, Total Dhamaal . Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3's roaring success is all the more impressive, given that it competed with Rohit Sharma's Singham Again , which featured several big names in Bollywood, from Ajay Devgn to Deepika Padukone. Not only that, Salman Khan also made a cameo appearance in it. Yet, the Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri-starrer outperformed it. Recently, Madhuri opened up about her journey back to films following her hiatus after marriage.
While Madhuri Dixit and her husband, Shriram Madhav Nene have moved back to India, their sons, Ryan and Arin , continue to reside in the US as they pursue their education. Well, it turns out kids will be kids even if they have a superstar mom, as Madhuri revealed that her kids don't usually like watching her movies.
However, Ryan and Arin did make an exception for her latest release, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 . The actress revealed that they went to a theater with their friends and thoroughly enjoyed the film. In a recent chat with News18 Showsha, Madhuri said:
"They went to a theater in the US with all their friends. They thought the film was very funny and they really enjoyed watching it. They loved me as a ghost. So, I can say that for this film, I've their approval ."
Madhuri Dixit Nene, who first gained recognition with the 1988 hit, Tezaab , took a long hiatus from films following her marriage. However, Bollywood never forgot the talented actress and dancer in all those years. The Hindi film industry made repeated attempts to woo her back.
But they weren't the only ones interested in Madhuri's talent. In the same interview, the beauty opened up about also receiving offers from Hollywood during her hiatus. However, Madhuri turned them all down because she was pregnant then. In her words:
"Well, there were one or two opportunities that came my way but I was pregnant with my second child at that time. I didn't want to work when I was pregnant. That's why I had said no."
She further spoke about how she had never considered doing a Hollywood movie, as Indian films were watched worldwide anyway. Madhuri said:
"At that time, I was so involved in making a family and living that life, which was also a part of my dreams. I didn't really think about doing a Hollywood film. I'm happy doing what I'm doing here And Indian films, anyway, are watched all over the world."
For the unversed, Madhuri Dixit found the man of her dreams in Los Angeles-based cardiovascular surgeon, Shriram Madhav Nene. When the two tied the knot in October 1999, Madhuri was at the height of her stardom, hailed as one of B-town's finest actresses and a national crush.
However, following her marriage, Madhuri's priorities in life changed. She relocated to Denver, Colorado, with her doting husband, where they started a life together and a family. Madhuri and Shriram became the proud parents of two sons. That was also when Madhuri decided to go on a nearly decade-long hiatus from the film industry.
What do you think about Madhuri Dixit's revelation that her kids, Ryan and Arin, don't watch her movies but made an exception for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 ?
