Junaid Khan's debut in Netflix's 'Maharaj' has got a lot of appreciation. In a recent interview, its director shared that the father-son duo should work on the remake of Aamir's iconic film.
Junaid Khan's debut in Maharaj has gained much attention due to its story, direction, and acting performances. Unlike other star kids, Junaid debuted without pomp or many promotions that impressed the netizens after the film's success. The film's director, Siddharth P. Malhotra, and Junaid Khan sat down for an interview and answered some exciting deets.
Junaid and Siddharth gave an interview to Pinkvilla and discussed the possibility of Junaid working with his father, Aamir. They were asked what if Junaid had to work with his father in one of his film remakes, what could it be? The Maharaj filmmaker quickly said it should be Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar. Although Junaid didn't seem interested in the idea, he said he hadn't thought of working with Aamir in any of his film's remakes.

Aamir Khan is one of the most popular and successful actors in Bollywood. His fans patiently waited for the superstar's films and wholeheartedly appreciated his work. Since Junaid has also taken the acting route and gained positive reviews for his work, he was asked about his opinion on working with his father on a project. Junaid said he would like to work with his father only on the right script. He was quoted as saying:
"Yeah sure, if the correct script comes along. He is producing a film that I am acting in."
Aamir Khan was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha. He worked hard for the film, yet it didn't perform well at the box office. In another interview with The Times Of India, Junaid revealed that he had previously auditioned to play the protagonist in Laal Singh Chaddha. For the unversed, Aamir played the lead role in the film later. Junaid added that Aamir wanted him to do it, but things didn't work out. Maharaj's director, Siddharth, said that he saw the audition with Aditya Chopra and was left impressed.

A few months ago, Aamir appeared as a guest at The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix. He shared several interesting anecdotes from his career. However, one of his statements caught the attention of fans when he stated that his kids didn't listen to him. In his interview, when Junaid was asked about his reaction to the statement, he said that sometimes his father often becomes a little parenty while sharing his views, and Junaid asks him to stop. He said:
"It's not that we don't take any advice. It's just that sometimes he can be like all parents, he can be a bit parenty. At which point you are like, it's okay papa, you let it be."
