In an interview with the ETimes, South Indian actor, Mahesh Babu's saali sahiba and veteran actress, Shilpa Shirodkar spilt some beans about her relationship with the superstar in her candid conversation. The actress revealed a lot of details about Mahesh Babu and talked about his 'superstar' stature. She said, "Namrata took over being my Mother and Father after they passed away in my life. She is my pillar of strength. Mahesh is a superstar for everyone but for me, and he is my brother in law." Shilpa also heaped praises on Mahesh Babu and described their bond in one word. She added, "Sometimes he's more there for me then my sister. If I have to describe our relationship in one word "FAMILY".
On August 9, 2020, i.e., Mahesh Babu's birthday, his wife, Namrata Shirodkar's sister, Shilpa Shirodkar had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted a beautiful wish for him on his special day. The actress had posted a cute picture with her sister, Namrata and brother-in-law, Mahesh Babu and all three of them had looked super-cute in the photo.
