Mahesh Babu's daughter, Sitara Ghattamaneni, revealed that her father is the reason that she bunks school half the time.
Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar's daughter, Sitara Ghattamaneni has won hearts with her adorable personality, even at the tender age of 12. The pretty daughter of the South sensation, Mahesh Babu, had already followed the footsteps of her parents and made herself a successful child artist. She was also featured on the Times Square billboard. There is no denying the fact that Sitara is the apple of Mahesh Babu's eyes, and she considers her father to be her 'hero'. Well, in a recent interview, she revealed how her father doesn't want to let her go to school.
Fathers are always the first love of their daughters, and so is the case with Sitara Ghattamaneni, who looks up to her star father as a hero. In a recent interview with iDream Media, Sitara was asked if she bunks school often. To this, she revealed that she bunks classes half of the time and it's because of her father, Mahesh Babu. Sitara added that when her father doesn't have any work, he persuades Namrata Shirodkar to let Sitara not go to school. Sitara called it lovely and shared that they have a lot of fun together. Mahesh Babu's daughter called him her hero and shared that she had watched all his films in the theatres. Sitara can be quoted as saying:
"Half the time I bunk school is because of my dad. On days he doesn't have work…I don't know how he does it; he persuades my mother to let me not go to school. It's great and lovely, we have fun together. I watch all his films in theatres, I recently watched Murari when it re-released. Honestly, everyone thinks of my dad as a hero. I feel that way when I watch his films. But at home, he's just my dad.”
Going further in the interview, Sitara revealed that she wants to see her brother, Gautham doing the lead roles. For the unversed, Gautham already debuted in 1: Nenokkadine, when he was a child. Sitara also added that her brother is currently studying at New York University and taking a four-year drama course. Sitara further added that she is also taking acting courses now. In Sitara's words:
"I’m waiting for the time he (Gautham) plays the hero role. He already debuted on-screen but it was when he was a child. He’s going to NYU now and doing a drama course for four years. He’s definitely going to be an actor. I already go to acting classes too. I used to have stage fright a year back, but I’m over it now."
It was on World Cinema Day when Sitara Ghattamaneni took to her IG handle and shared a family photo, which featured the late actor, Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy, Mahesh Babu, Namrata, Sitara, and Gautham. Sharing the photo, she penned a long note and added that cinema is in her DNA. She called her father her inspiration and called herself blessed to carry forward the legacy of her grandpa and the legendary evergreen superstar, Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy.
Sitara Ghattamaneni won hearts when she donated her first paycheck worth Rs. 1 crore, which she earned for being the face of a jewellery brand. This generous work left everyone's heart melted, and the little one proved how kind she is. Well, she surely made her parents proud with such a thoughtful way of making use of her first paycheck.
